It is odd that they copied the style of the base game furniture for one of the changing tables but then choose not to include it in the base game. It really should’ve been included with the infants update IMO.
It makes me wonder if they had any confidence in the gameplay. Like they thought they needed it that way to convince players to buy the pack. In my experience, the gameplay is great though. 🤔
It is a different chair but she didn’t say she didn’t like it either, at no point does she say she doesn’t like the look of it. She said it makes little sense for a traditional meets modern build pack. 🙌🏻
Not related to this, but I found one infant cross-pack feature that's amazing ... if you have laundry day and laundry stuff on the lot ... you can give your kid cloth nappies. Also, if you give your infant a nap, they will sleep *in your arms* (it's just as adorable as it sounds)

I don't blame people for asking to seperate the plants, they look so good on their own. What I like to know is why can't we get the suitcase shelves speperated, and emptied as well. That way we can stack them and use them in different ways. Such as side tables in the bedroom, a TV stand, a plant stand in the bathroom or kitchen, and so on. There is so much potentential there if they only free them--look at what it did for babies. ;) I would also like a desk that is just a shelf, or counters that are just shelves--so you can put things under them like a trash can or book shelf. You can also make a vanity with it.

I just lost my baby boy....our dog of almost 10 years passed suddenly today. I miss him so much. I miss his little snores and the way he used to do his little things around the house....nothing is the same without him. He was such a good boy. 😢 Enjoy EVERY DAY with Bowser. I totally agree about the curved couch!! Not only is it a weird choice but it just doesn't go with all the other great things they've made for this pack. I feel like they really missed an opportunity to make a more stylish and versatile modern couch
The lighting and the windows seem to be the best parts of the build buy for me 🥰 Shame we didn't get more kitchen items, especially for a family based pack!

8:01 Eco Lifestyles windows DO have a flat version of the geometric pattern. There is a left angle, a right angle & a flat frame. But it has the metal that sticks out which I think makes it harder to use so I love that these windows exist but I do think they are basically the same which I'd prefer a refresh to Eco Lifestyle rather than add essentially the same thing to a whole new $40 pack.
Am I the only one thinking the new BB is a little useless and ugly? I love the gameplay objects and the build mode. But the furniture is really not my jam. Also a baby changing table being locked to the pack is criminal 😭😅

I used to love putting desks or dressers under my bunk beds, especially for tiny homes, but anytime I go off lot with my sim, anything under the bunk bed is sent to the household inventory 🤔 It's so annoying 😂

i really wish they would have a tub with a floating shower head/shelves so it would just snap to the wall but not have the big enclosure around it. and just like a transparant shower curtain on a rod. I love the tub/shower combos but i wish they didn't create blind spots in your view. I almost always use the vampires tub/shower because it's see through (I make a lot of cottagey antiquey builds so it looks nicer there) but i would love to ahve a more modern one. (i play on console so no cc)
Love the Herringbone wall tiles! Fairly excited about the modern windows and door, and the red panda sleeping bag killed me! They're my favorite mammal. Those curved cushioned chairs are a bit odd but the swatches do seem nice at least. "Not Your Grandma's Drawers" reminds me of card catalog things for libraries, if those can be stacked somehow they could be neat in a lot/room with some of the Book Nook stuff, etc. Pretty jazzed about the little fairy garden and having more plants, I can always use more plants! The one set would be great as separate pieces but with the space in between we can moo extras in I suppose. Anyway, I think you've sold me on this pack!
This loooks really great in HD!! This siding looks terriffic, and the shingles don't look so bad either. I really wish we would get a 3 tile plain window.
I LOVE that siding! The multi-tonal wood is great and I completely agree about the white making for amazing newer looking shiplap style paneling for interiors! I really am pleased with what this pack offers to us. I just hope the bugs aren't too bad.

And maybe more than one style. 2.More than one floor style that match or is in the same style as the wallpapers… 🙄 3. Maybe some more option for doors? Or another version of that modern door plus an arch in that style. 4. More sizes of the arch. And idk if they have all the door and the arch to all wall heights but if they didn’t, they should have added it to all heights 🙂 5. Windows to all heights, also smaller and thinner, versions of the modern ones so you can use those windows to make a smaller modern family home (basically different window sizes for more variety 🤷♀️) 6. Maybe more fence styles, a more modern and high one? 7. More than one style of the double bed 🥲 and more swatches (that should be to everything tbh, so it’s easier to match the furniture/objects to stuff from other packs) 8. More couch styles, that look more comfortable. Tbh I didn’t like either of the couches, the modern one should have been made a bit different 🧐 9. At least matching love seats, hello EA? Big AND small dressers, and maybe longer big ones for like parents room 🙃 and in more than one style. (For example boho and modern) 25. And lastly, I wish they had more swatches for everything, definitely more cool brown swatches, and pure white, and deep black swatches 🤩 But I have to say I’m really impressed with how good many of these new items look tho, Maxis have really outdone themselves in this pack and high school years, but they just need to make more items for every room and not ignore one item that should have been added, like a toilet that matches to the sink and bath/shower 🤷♀️ And I also really love the modern windows, though I do wish they had some versions of those modern ones but with like those “stripes” in the Middle like a cross, idk how to explain it but I hope someone understood lol😬 I hope some people agree with me on this because even tho I do use cc, I wish ea/maxis would make packs or add things that a lot of cc creators do to their packs because I feel like we get more of what we actually want from cc creators?? And if Maxis made/added all these things I wrote, or maybe in a future pack, that those who don’t use cc can have more options for when building houses 🤷♀️😬 Well, that’s all🤠

Those chairs you reffered to as unrealistic (is unrealistic) but its one of the things I love about The Sims.. they always bring their own twist of uniqueness into the game,, it's what makes The Sims - The Sims!💚
If you get a custom content change table and you don’t have the pack it will still function because the animation file came in the base game infant update. Same with the swing sets

There’s lots of items that are basically expansions or redos of items we already have. I’ve noticed this in a lot of recent packs unfortunately….

More modern kitchen furniture, cause not everyone is into that type of style for the kitchen, I mean I wish they at least added a very modern fridge that has like a screen on it etc like many modern families have now. and since they already added so many other modern furniture I feel like they should have done the same with the kitchen🤷♀️
And they should definitely have added kitchen counters and cabinets , because the kitchen is one of the most important rooms in a family house I feel like?😂
Like it is a bit weird they didn’t give us a whole kitchen set, but they gave us soooo many chairs ???🗿 why so many chairs, like for what lmao, I would rather have more kitchen counters and matching cabinets 🥲

Moooore type of book shelves that look modern, sleek, or cool and funky, cause the ones we have are not that nice, I mean we have some nice ones but not many, we need more variety of book shelves. Maybe some small ones in like baskets or small ones u can put on the wall besides the bed (like the cc ones).
24. Big AND small dressers, and maybe longer big ones for like parents room 🙃 and in more than one style. (For example boho and modern)
25. And lastly, I wish they had more swatches for everything, definitely more cool brown swatches, and pure white, and deep black swatches 🤩
But I have to say I’m really impressed with how good many of these new items look tho, Maxis have really outdone themselves in this pack and high school years, but they just need to make more items for every room and not ignore one item that should have been added, like a toilet that matches to the sink and bath/shower 🤷♀️
And I also really love the modern windows, though I do wish they had some versions of those modern ones but with like those “stripes” in the Middle like a cross, idk how to explain it but I hope someone understood lol😬
I hope some people agree with me on this because even tho I do use cc, I wish ea/maxis would make packs or add things that a lot of cc creators do to their packs because I feel like we get more of what we actually want from cc creators?? And if Maxis made/added all these things I wrote, or maybe in a future pack, that those who don’t use cc can have more options for when building houses 🤷♀️😬

If you get a custom content change table and you don’t have the pack it will still function because the animation file came in the base game infant update. Same with the swing sets

Lol - my dog does the same thing when I am on work video calls! Silly puppies! My girl is a hound/chow chow/Shepherd mix - we are silly looking - chow chow tail and coloring on the body of a foxhound/beagle. 😂
