    At 61 I've just started riding again after quitting in my early 30's when my son's needed their dad to take them to football and rugby on weekends.
    I bought a entry level eMTB in Dec 21 and gradually I've been getting fitter.
    I watch a lot of your videos Andy and you and John inspired me to ride this route today. 2hr 10m moving time 42% battery used. I'm made up my efforts today.
    Thanks for making the videos Andy, from them I can judge if the ride is within my current capability or not.

    Your thumbnail 🤣🤣 other than the bridleway and wind which looked brutal. Seemed a good ride, had good speed as well down there 👍🏼
    Enjoyed that, makes a difference knowing you a little bit now as well so can relate that bit more 😀

      Thanks mate. Really nice fast loop is this. Yeah that thumb nail. Right place right time. And I think like that watching your vids. I know the person behind the cameras now 😁

    Another great video and ride Andy but I think your greatest achievement was finding a parking spot in Malham! :-D

    Did this ride yesterday but started from Kilnsey reaching Malham Tarn via Arncliffe Cote in Littondale. Loved the section from Weets Top down to Winterburn reservoir, well worth it especially after the road climb out of Malham!!

    There's nothing worse than pedalling against the wind on a descent, not to mention the nightmare bridleway haha, luckily you got some cracking descents in the mix, looked like a good loop, great video mate😃👍

      Thanks mate. I don’t mind riding in any weather but wind. The 2 descents in this ride I’ve done many times. love them every time

    Nice ride Andy, you’re so lucky having those trails on your doorstep. That one was awesome, apart from that grassy bridle way.

    Andy "Trail-Finder", riding shit bridleways so that you don't have to. I've done loads of riding in that area and would have, at some point, ended up on that bridleway. Thanks for showing me that I don't want to be doing that. Another quality vid, thanks mate. BTW the bird that buzzed you was a Lapwing.

    The Yorkshire Dales are perfect for this type of XC riding. I live in West Leeds so am about 35 mins from Nidderdale and about 50 mins from Wharfedale. So lucky to have these routes to cycle so near home. I keep thinking of going to the Lakes, but even southern lakes are around 2hrs + to get to and I am not sure I would like the routes as much as they seem to be very rocky and technical?

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  2 года назад

      You would love the lakes. And it’s well worth the travel. Most of the lakes videos I’ve done are probably for all skill levels.
