- This video feels like a throwback to the days of the bike tour. Being alone with my bike and nature. This is my happy place.

If you have any recommended routes for me to bike in the Yorkshire Dales, it would be awesome if you could recommend it in the comments.
i know its not the yorkshire dales but the coast to coast is a blast
nice video and a terrific landscape.
Nice 1 Adam keep up the hard work and keep them coming mate cheers 👏👏👏
another great video adam, keep them coming, you might want to check out the south downs, its a great place for mountain bicking
You are crazy amazing! Love your vlogs! I'm Tony watching all the way from the Philippines!
Thank you for the breathtaking views of UK
My pleasure!
Ahhh I loved the scenery! Glad to see you in your element my friend! It’s beautiful and so green!
Thank you. I feel I’ve found my way again.
That was quite an uphill. Nice video. Love the music ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the scenic ride!
It’s my pleasure.
Good to see you happy and rested. I watched every one of your videos and felt as if I was traveling with you. They were excellent. If you go North my son lives in Dunfermline which is just over the River fourth from Edinburgh. I’m from Scott’s Valley CA just North of Monterey CA. I will look you up when I get over to Scotland. Am planning a bike ride across the U.S. when it’s safer with the virus. You’re the best
Nice video! I’d love to come and see all that beautiful scenery in person some day!
Adam I have watched you travel the world now but I’ve never been as shocked as when that lady in the ice-cream van uttered “£4 please” at 5:54... you’re definitely home now mate!
Tell me about it! It would have been £2.50 for a small but it’s all about the large.
I love your tubes, it motivates me.
I visited the UK back in the early 1980's, and I really loved the Lake District. Can't wait for your videos from there. But the scenery on this video was beautiful too.
Great to see you back at your filming best. Hope to see more like this one, I really enjoyed it. Miss you touring!
Thanks Alan. I feel it’s a sign that I also feel back to my best, post bike trip. There’s plenty more to come.
Excellent adventure Adam. That would have been a great day out on in the Dales.
I hope you will be able to bike again out in other countries when you can. I enjoy seeing the places that you shared with us.
I used to do this route all the time, 30 years ago holidaying at knight stainforth camp site just outside settle, the trail hasn't really changed, there are some great rides up around ribble head to dent dale too that are well worth a look.
For the record there is a good waterfall at the knight stainforth campsite and an medieval pack bridge their too, it's great on a hot day, the jump into the waterfall is quite high
That sounds awesome! Thanks for the recommendations. I’ll check it out 👍
After watching all your videos I'm going bikepacking this year ,going to do hadrains wall first .
That’s awesome. That will be a great ride.
Hey I was in Settle on sat drove from Morecambe where I live had a look in 3 peak cycles and had takeaway fish and chips love your videos
cool! i wish there was someone that made well shot cycling vids of the great local spots in my area. maybe i will! this makes me want to visit yorkshire.
That someone could be you.
Great porkpies in Settle mate!
Yes mate! Skipton has some banging pork pies too by all accounts.
Thanks Adam....all this needs is Sean Connery to narrate....looks like a blast.....what happened to FATTY?...also...not sure if you heard but the US Army did a mission in Alaska and removed the famous BUS from the wilderness...too many people getting lost and some dead trying to see it....cheers mate....Robert J Canada
Hey Robert. I saw the “into the wild” bus had gone. Not surprised really. I sold the fatty. To heavy and cumbersome for the tiding I wanted to do.
Cool to see you back on the bike! Touring from Essex to Manchester in July then eventually Europe when it opens again, I used your world adventure for inspiration and as a sort of guide. Have you got any long distance tours planned?
That sounds awesome! Good luck and I hope the borders are opened up by the time you leave. I have no solid plans at the moment. I plan to cycle some bikepacking routes in the Uk and then hopefully spend some more time in the USA once it’s open.
You are near to Scotland , it will gunna be great to see you doing adventure there
I’m still a good few hours from the Scottish border but I’ll be heading up there once everything is open.
I'm up your way today in Middlesmoor
The uphill climb looks really tough!
Eye, welcome to Yorkshire 😁
Yes to the 99!
Inflation has kicked in hard here though. The bugger cost me £4!
NEVER! Poor buggers all COVID-19 fallout I suppose. Let's hope dairy farmers and ice-cream makers make a speedy recovery... 4quidder doesn't have the same ring as 99
Excellent, you have been busy mate.
There are a hell of a lot worse places to be than Yorkshire with a bike. Nice to see it again.
Keep them coming
(PS. I think you meant “Komoot” fella, or is that the Yorkshire spelling ? :-) )
Eye, it’s good to be in Yorkshire. Here’s me thinking it was Kamoot. Thanks for the heads up 👍
Adam Hugill just lucky whatever it was called didn’t start with “H” ...
not a bloody look in for that one :-)
Take care fella.
Yorkshire.
I Adam, I am doing a ride from Threshfield up to Kilnsey and back via Mastiles Lane this week if your interested.
Thank you but this week I’m away with work unfortunately but I’d always be interested when I’m available.
How are you finding the new bike?
I’m really enjoying it. Such a different bike to the touring bike. It just wants to be taken off road.
hey, adam, same last name! are you from Yorkshire in England by chance?
I am indeed!
Hi how can I get a map of that route?
Hi, which type of drone are you using. Has it follow me mode?
Hey, I’m using a DJI Spark. It has a follow me mode but I rarely use it. I find that the shots are a bit boring if I just use that mode.
@@PathfinderBikepacking but what you are doing is not boring. I mean you are using that mode and take short shots from that and mix with the rest. I was thinking to buy a drone lately, and Mavic mini seems to be perfect from weight pov and registration rools, but it doesn't have this mode. There are some turns around but it's kind of time consuming and then the bike touring isn't anymore a bike touring but a movie shooting session 😬 Thank you for your reply, you are doing nice work!!! Keep it going!👌
did it the wrong way round man
