You should include new seals and u-joint in the kit. You are asking for trouble if you reuse wear items. 4:18 a drill with a wire wheel cleans this up nicely. One of my frustrations when I order various types of kits is taking my truck apart and not having one part and then my truck is down a week waiting for the one part I felt should be part of the kit. As a potential customer I am just wanting to share with you. I would rather pay more and have everything I need.
Great information. In the past manufacturers included u-joints with the kits. However, there was an overwhelming amount of people that would want the kit without the u-joints, so a change was made.
@@DieselPowerProducts I send a price difference ain't a whole lot and percentage of the actual deal. I know they cost me about $25 give or take a bit with Moog. Other diesel parts sites like yours have little check boxes where you can select that stuff. Maybe you might want to do that for seals u joints maybe even add a couple size options because not everybody's built is the same. I get it. Obviously if it's a stock truck it will work but if it's not a stock I guess it would be a problem. Didn't think about that.
I've needed 2lo many times for backing a heavy trailer in tight spots. I have a nv5600 truck, and reverse in 2hi is too fast. I used to have an old square body chevy that had a 2lo, and lockouts.
Great video!
Thanks Bill!!
Does the fact that the tone ring is exposed like that cause any problems?
So whats to stop me from pulling my front driveshaft out? Seems like this is still going to make my front diff spin..

Am installingthat kit, looking for the proper socket for tightening the hub nuts thst come with the kit, been a good install up to this point
Can a oem dually adapter be used ? Or can an oem adapter be millled to work ?
Not cost effective, but if you pull a trailer/rv you can use 4low in a campground and still maneuver leaving front wheels unlocked

Hello there, where are you located? I have a question about Diesel, I already have a truck.
