Also, I will take my medicine and say I was one of the people excited about Verdugo and I thought it was a very good trade at the time. I think it's time to admit that he had his uses, but the next generation needs to come up and play regularly. I can admit I was wrong, I don't know why Brian Cashman can't seem to do that. The people who are overreacting may be making a lot of noise, but not all of it is without truth. I have been saying for some time that Gleyber Torres needs to go, Dominguez needs to come up, and Oswaldo Cabrera needs to play on a regular basis. You are ignoring reality. Pitching, not offence, is the weak point of the roster. Sure bring up Dominguez, how does that fix pitching and the last time I checked the Yankees had the highest scoring offence in MLB.
It’s not easy to build a roster, it’s not as simple as calling up guys from AAA. You can’t just contact a team and say “I want so and so, give him to me”.
I do believe Cashman should have added pitching but his hands are tied if teams aren’t willing to deal, the price is too high or what is available doesn’t suit your needs.
Tell me how adding Dominguez to the highest scoring offence will help a shaky pitching staff.

Let's be real here, Cashman has been doing dumb things for yrs. He trades for players that nobody wants, he doesn't get what we need in the offseaseason and they are sticking with Verdugo over Dominguez. Stop sticking up for Cashman amd the way this organization is ran.

I am a big Jones fan but I also know he needs more time to develop especially in AAA, before coming to the Bronx. Lets go Yanks!!!
