  • I ran Worsley Woods Parkrun this morning in 21:18 and finished 12th.
I wanted to run a flat course today seeing that running the Manchester Marathon tomorrow, I'll do my best. Hope the weather holds up.
    Love seeing spring flowers.
I would like to thank the volunteers and fellow runners today.

Thanks for putting these videos on. It shows the course and also I can believe its me running instead of me being 8 mins slower than you

Thanks for the video Mark. Well done and very best wishes for the marathon tomorrow. I thought you might have taken it easy today but no! We went over to Centre Vale in Todmorden. Still loving it but my time isn’t really improving. Could do with you posting some training tips to help me out… 😅

Thank you for watching!! Just keep at it and you’ll get there.
I tried taking it easy but I got too excited. I guess the sooner I run the event the sooner I can go home and rest.

Thank you for watching, sorry no footage for tomorrow. Go-Pros battery overheat after a while.
Well done today on your run too.

That's a good time for Worlsey Woods. I'm always fast on the out and back bits, but lose so much time in the narrow woods section!
What trainers do you use for this course, Mark? Not sure if people wear plated shoes for this, given the trail section.
Good luck for the marathon, well done.
