I've just tried this game on Quest 3 PC VR with x-box gamepad, and it was probably my best gaming experience ever. It was so intense that it made me swet😂
same here just got the game today I was playing it on my quest 3 with a xbox gamepad and oh damn drifting on those corners about to fall off the cliff gets your blood going
Ive been thinking of purchasing a quest 3. I sim on triple 27's with a 3090 I have yet to try VR, been watching loads of Assetto Corsa VR videos... But this video is the one that's done it for me..I gotta try this!!!
Definitly worth it. I was doing some ping pong, Alyx and so on which I thought is amazing. But simracing in VR is the thing even with entry level steering wheel like T150, TMX or G29.
if like sim race, i'll thing 600-900 eur good price. Just try and you will write like me: "old old car and new ferrari" I think with logitech not possible to play this game :P @@mainelyhobbies
Are you using virtual desktop and playing the game via steam? Or are you playing it on the oculus app via air link? I am getting grapgical glitches and bad framerate when i run the game on steam. Seemingly this is because the game is optimised for VR properly on oculus only, and its not optimised correctly for steam vr. Are you having any problems with the framerate or graphics?
I use virtual desktop and once connected, virtual desktop has a quick launch for steam. I had issues trying to use steam or metas built in streaming. Most of my issues were around stuttering, steering wheel not working, or blotchy low bit rate graphics. Virtual desktop is very solid, the best app Ive bought on the quest.
One other tip... if you have a single other device on the same wireless router / accesspoint, it'll stutter and look bad intermittently. I have a dedicated unifi wifi 6 lite accesspoint for my quest. I think ubiquiti makes a wifi 6e/7 lite now for a little more than the $100 I paid (quest 3 supports wifi 6e)
I have a dedicated WiFi 6 router for virtual desktop, but I'm still getting stuttering when I use it in steam. When I use it via air link there is no stuttering etc but air link produces bad graphics compared to VD. When you open the game from the VD shortcut, does it open steam and take you to steam home?
@angryhitman6181 IDK why yours would be worse except that maybe it is because I have a dedicated accesspoint for it, line of sight, and the desktop is 10 gig wired to my switch.. I turn off auto bandwith and set it to the max manually.

Haha that might be motion sickness sweats starting. I have a usb pc fan blowing on me to help there. Now try a racing wheel/seat!!

You have to get a fold out racing chair and even the cheap logitech wheel.. it really completes the experience.
My favorite car in this game. The control is amazing
this looks sick but also astounishing at the same time!

Worth it. VR racing is next level.
Hi, amazing video. I wonder if your steering wheel is connected to your PC or Quest 3. In other words, are you truly wireless from you PC?
The wheel is wired to the PC. I've been looking for a wireless USB setup so I can move the wheel to another room but haven't seen anything yet.
Wont be worth it, you'll have too much latency.@@mainelyhobbies
@@stormbarnicleyeahh.. I was actually looking for USB over Ethernet since that could be speedy once I realized the latency issues.
How are the graphics compared to assetto corsa when playing in vr on quest 3?
Try fanatec dd pro, after g920/g29 is like old old car and new ferrari.
It's the money. They almost suck me in with their sale prices in emails but then at checkout they throw on $300 or more in shipping lol. Deal killer

can i use my keyboard on control but display on VR quest 3
Yes, any controller can work.
Are you running at 72hz
Yes
@@mainelyhobbiesthanks. I was trying to run it at 80hz with my 3090 but there was too many frame drops. I’ll do 72hz next time.
Are you sure it isnt network related? I ended up buying a separate ubiquiti accesspoint for ONLY my quest to connect to.

In virtual desktop, it opens steam VR. Don't know what else to suggest?? Maybe your dedicated router is on a congested channel?
How do you do this ?
Its PCVR wireless to the Quest 3 using virtual desktop. If you have a more specific question I can probably answer!
Or Quest Airlink or via Link cable.
@@mainelyhobbieshow does it look so good . Mine looks nothing like that with a 4090 running with virtual desktop?
