    Thanks for the video! I'd been searching for the rear CLUNK for a long time... your video helped me find and replace these on my 2013!! Smooth as butter now!! One thing for future viewers if they check the comments... I couldn't fit the new ones without dropping the car back down on the wheels and compressing the suspension.
    So... I raised it up to remove, then fitted the new pieces on the sway bar, lowered the car back down and was able to swing the end links into the holes by rotating the swaybar up and down, tightening as much as possible... then raise the car back up again for final torque.

      Odd. I did mine with the rear end way up in the air on jack stands. It was a little fiddly getting the studs that go up to the chassis to go through the holes, but no problems otherwise. Mine is a 2009, but I’m sure the setup is the same.

    Thanks for this video. I had a metal clunking in the rear over uneven pavement that I thought were damper mounts. It remained after replacing both damper assemblies (not just the mounts as I had a blown passenger side). I just swapped the end links and the noise is finally gone. I’m also going to do the lateral links, but waiting for a warm day. My 2009 5 has around 145K on it. I love that Mazda brought us something like this with a manual.

    Was wondering about the washers on the ties - should they have gone just below the nut on top, or inside the cavity, as you did? I had a shop do the work, and i think they installed the washers on the top of the wheel arm. They also did not install the plastic cups over the ball joints- missing? How critical are those?

    I have had my 2010 Mazda 5 noise from both Front and rear , I replaced front control arm and ready shock but noise still there , is that solution that I should replace swing bar bushing in front and stabilizer link end in rear ? I like Mazda 5 but hate the noise which has existed for 4 years with my 11 years ownership.

    From reading online reviews of the Mazda5, some people have complained about excessive/premature tire wear on this vehicle. Did you experience a similar problem on your Mazda5?
    Overall, would you say that your Mazda5 has been fairly reliable, or that it constantly needs work? Looking through your videos, you have done engine mounts, transmission mounts, a bunch of suspension components, on a vehicle that has over 120k miles. That's quite a bit of work.
    I am asking because I am thinking about getting a Mazda5 myself, and want to get some feedback from actual owners. Thanks.

      Hello Liang Yu. Thank you for your comment, the tire wear you mentioned I have experienced on my Mazda. Adjustable rear camber arms and an alignment has stopped the excessive wear (cupping) in my case. In combination with better tires and shock/stut replacement should help it as well. It is a common problem on the 5 as Mazda's naturally sit with negative camber, better for cornering and handling, bad for tire wear as I was told by Mazda Dealership.
      As far as reliability goes, honest opinion if I told my younger self before I purchased the car and told him all of the repair and maintenance that was done. I'd say look for a different car to buy. The 5 is a great car to drive I really do like it very much but as you mentioned it does need constant attention. Parts on cars don't last forever so eventually parts will have to be replaced I've done all the repairs and maintenance myself at home so I can't imagine someone going to the dealership and pay all that money for labor and parts it'll be too much.

      The tire wear issue that you have experienced, is it on all four wheels, or only on the wheels/tires on the rear?
      I don't know if you have time to make more videos on your Mazda5, but if you do, that issue with the tire wear might be a good future topic. Some information about which brand of adjustable rear camber arms, shock/strut replacements, and replacement tires would be helpful. Online and on RUclips, there is some information about the tire wear issue on the first-generation Mazda5, but not much information about the second generation Mazda5 like yours.

      It doesnt matter. they are ball joints. torque with weight on the suspension is for rubber bushings

      Those hex key studs were not made for the rust belt. Grinder or cutting torch is often the only solution - especially on the rear links.

    Mazda 5 CR19 year 2007 its rear suspension is crap, I have a problem with banging and creaking, I changed the 3 suspension arms, the ball joints, the shock absorber, the shock absorber support, the pad and the shock absorber ring, only the spring that I did not change, but there is still the cloccloc and the squeaking, the manufacturer of the Mazda 5 is an ass

    I replaced all bushing, links, shock absorbers with new mounts, front struts and front control arms and I still have a suspension knock noise. MAZDA 5 IS JUNK!!

      Did you use off-brand Chinese Amazon parts?
