Then bought a fresh frame off of an 85 with 460.100 shot/C6 4.11s Now that was a sleeper if there ever was one. Kept it muffled down, used Rhoads lifters so when the oil got hot that lumpy cam sounded like an RV cam. What a blast. With a griffin rad. I couldnt keep it cool not enough grille area for air to cool it

Do it! BOught my 86 from 1st owner in 87. Mom bought it for him garaged, mint only had 18k on it Stolen in 92...cop in Mexico had it for yrs then disappeared. Probably back in Ca with a different VIN Man I miss that car.

It’s a dart block 302 base bore and stroke is 4.125 x 3.40. So it’s a larger bore and you have to use an aftermarket block to get the extra material to bore larger.
I have an 86 I’m building I must ask mines a junkyard save so a lot of the plastic trim is faded would you happen to have any recommendations for the outside trim and a front face and bumper replacement?

That’s what happens with foxbody cars. Plastic painted parts and metal painted parts never match exactly. Especially the 4 eye cars.

as for replacement im not sure - I didnt replace any of mine as they are perfect originals.
