The first time I heard this mini medley I was blown away, 1978 I’ve blown it all away more than once but I’m still here until somebody tells me it’s time for me to go. Thank you Leo and Roger 🙏
Hi John, Thank You for posting this my 2 favourite Daltrey songs in one beautiful video going in my favourites playlist now & want this played at my funeral! Many Thanks Jim, Surrey, UK
This music has followed me since the early 1970s. To me, this tune is like God holding a mirror up to us -- with a box of facial tissues by His side, as He says, "Go ahead and cry -- it's far better that you weep bitter tears than have this world drive you mad."
This song just about sums it up for me. I hate feeling so sad & depressed all of the time. I lost one of my beloved fur babies yesterday (5/29/24) 🐶💔😥🐾🙏🏻🌈
What a TRUE early '70s classic! This should have been ─ in my not-so-humble opinion ─ a huge hit. Its power struck me the first time I ever heard it on WDAI in Chicago. It sounds just as powerful forty-five years later. Thank you for sharing.
I am 68 years old & still listening in August 2024 👍🏻
ME TOO ! 68 BEEN LISTENING SINCE TOMMY !
Roger Daltrey & "The Who" produced some of the greatest music of all time !!!
My mother passed away in 1973 ,I became orphaned and homeless in the USA, this song sticks in my mind, 😢
I feel down.
64 yesterday my life was a waste

Leo Sayer is a GENIUS. Roger Daltry knew this and asked him for some songs...

I agree with you 100% - this is, in my opinion, one of the most powerful songs ever recorded. Thank you for your comments.
A true legend 😊
Awesome song!!! Well said!💜💜💜💜
I’m alone... living 12000 km from home. Got divorced earlier this year, no one gives a crap about me . This song suits me well.
