Good effort that. Worked a treat. Being a bit ocd you could remove the old hanger loop from the right rearset if you have the tiny spacer that should have come with the bike just to tidy it up a bit.
Wish I’d a thought of this before I took to using a lump hammer and chisel to my Arrow db killer…hit my thumb with said lump hammer too. The sound was worth the pain though. Excellent idea so well done and thanks for sharing 👌🏻 The bike sounds amazing!
Straight end cans and pipes are easier to get out tight DB Killers... I use a broom handle from the head/pipe end, slide the broom handle through the can, and knock the DB Killer out. Not as easy with a curved pipe or can, though.

Unfortunately we couldn’t fit a broom handle through the slight bend.
I have the factory akrapovic on my 24 s1000rr hoping i can remove the db killer it has a bolt to hold it so it must come out

Yes it just slots in. I had to buy the db killer separately for a track day.
