Dry Ice blasting / cleaning a Porsche cylinder head .

I visited my friend for a quick noninvasive cleaning method for an engine block I was working on.

Hi, is it really carbon will drop in-between piston ring?

Hey. Yes this are carbon deposits. There is a low probability it drops between the cylinder and piston. The gap there is extremely small.

It is. Dry ice does not remove oxidation, and the valves were removed and polished and laped .
