I've seen dry ice blasting results on aluminum engines that left black smudges. The owner wasnt happy with the results so he resorted to conventional dry media blasting. What causes the smudges and is there a way to mitigate them?
It doesnt leave smudges, the block had become stained from oil and dirt. Dry ice doesnt abrade the surface so cant remove stains that have embedded in the porous surface.
@@russssh We have partners in Sydney (Leading Edge Car Detailing), Melbourne and Perth as well, but unfortunately we don't have a partner in QLD at the moment, hopefully soon. Sorry that we couldn't help you.
i see you had a lot of fun doing this :)
to infinity & beyond~
WOW, nice one. Wouldn't be a good sight if you were able to mount go pro on the blasting gun? :)
That's one cool bike 😁😎
Great results!! How much is the cost for a service like that?? +-
It would be better if you open the airbox or tank to expose the engine top

That was there before. To get rid of that you would also need to add laser cleaning.

So cool man! Congrats on the results and the business. Now to find me a local dry ice detailer in Australia to do my Ducati’s and cars!
Where in Australia are you located?, we may be able to find one of our partners to help you. Cheers.
@@ColdJetAustraliaPty thank you for helping. Gold Coast.

@@ColdJetAustraliaPty no worries at all! Thanks for your help!
How much would a service like this cost (roughly)?
Approximately $500 for a motorcycle
@@theblastinglab1636 So who takes the fairings off? the owner or you guys?
@@mylordass8120 the owner takes off the fairings, this will keep the labor cost down.
@@CaliMotoTV Thaught that might have been the case.
@@theblastinglab1636 Do you wash and clean the bikes first or expect it to be washed and clean on arrival? $500 includes the whole bike detail?
Qual valor de um máquina dessa pelo trabalho
