Awesome Scott, I hope you guys do well with it a game changer for sure👍
Thanks, it will take some time. Pretty tough for folks to try new things.
At first, the pace of the intro was unnerving... but after watching for a while, I really like the pacing, tone, and delivery. Great product, and a great presentation. I didn't feel like someone was trying to sell me something. I genuinely felt introduced to the product. Great work!
Thanks, it's a difficult and challenging thing to provide content that is generally accepted. Appreciate you sticking it out!
@@ScottAles- in today's world, I'd never make it as a content creator. Kudos to you. I offend people by breathing, it seems.
This machine is on my buy list.
This is beautiful
This is like a magic eraser in a touch less form 😮
As someone who loves restoration, I am enamored.
The machine is 10% off for 3 more days!
pushing for this in my shop, fingers crossed
top top product
I’ve been watching all of the videos and I like it. There’s no doubt that this machine would be extremely useful for my car collection. I can also see how it would be useful in all sorts of other things, as well as things that I can’t even imagine at the moment. The thing that I can’t seem to wrap my head around is committing to a regularly scheduled dry ice delivery service. I don’t want to use the machine everyday, every week, or even every month. I would be perfectly happy if the machine could sit patiently in storage until I felt the need to use it. Is it not possible to schedule single delivery orders with the appropriate amounts needed for particular projects? Did I hear you mention in the video that AirGas is the company that supplies the dry ice?
Yes, we have a strong relationship with Airgas and can facilitate the delivery of dry ice for you. We are compiling a list of dry ice suppliers as well as assisting some of our Patreon Dryceman members in the production side of the industry.
Your point is well taken and critical, which is why we are working diligently on that front.
In the meantime, all I can tell you from a personal perspective is that I don't mind the ice acquisition issue for the amazing results the EVO provides.
It has completely changed how I think and act on cleanliness in business and at home.
I applaud getting this into a small enough package and price point to consider. As many comments stated, $10k is still a bit high but it’s approaching consideration by us DIY’ers and Weekend Warriors who are serious about maintaining and restoring cleanliness on vehicles. I’m watching closely to see how the price for this machine does and would love to buy one for my home and car collection.
Well, you may not have noticed, but the exchange rate with the Euro has allowed for us to lower the price by $1,000. So the machine is now $9,000.
@@ScottAlesThx Scott for clarifying! What stuck in my head was when that $10m was mentioned there. That said, I think there’s value at those prices if you can charge for jobs. My use would be for a handful to 10 cars a year. I’ll keep watching and considering! Great video btw!
@@awolryan Thank you. We'll keep pushing the boundaries!
I Have been really inspired to start offering this in my area since no one is doing this! Thanks for all the videos and info about Dryce, now to secure that business loan haha!

Will the system work on wet surfaces? I'm thinking of a scenario of soaking the underside of a vehicle in degreaser to loosen up the grime before a dry ice session?
dream thing
Need this for aircraft cleaning.
Legally the engine must be cleaned once a year.
@ 6:27 “… at 7ennie-mile-n-arrr” 😜
I’m a detailer in Buffalo NY! I’m wandering where to get dry ice everyday?
What would be the cost per ft2 material only when run cleaning process on an average.
Or may advise each lb how many ft2 will clean.
Hey, Scott! Is this machine capable of cleaning the underside similarly to how you cleaned the E36 M3? If not, what's the minimum requirements for a machine to be able to clean an underside? Cheers!
In the end, there is a need for larger volume and pressures to efficiently and effectively clean most underbody surfaces. We did recently use the EVO to clean a 12k mile 1994 Nissan Twin Turbo underbody. We did half with the EVO and half with a larger machine which sells for over $40k.
Took at least 2 hours longer using the EVO, but you couldn't tell the difference of the finishes.
But it is NOT designed to work well on thick coatings. Cosmoline is not an issue, but old thick grease is. It does not perform well there and frankly wasn't designed for that use.
Where the EVO out performs larger machines is on the exterior topside, interior, and trim areas. So easy to use and very simple!
Very good. How much to charge to cleam the whole car?
Scott: what's the minimum pressure/volume the air compressor has to deliver to make the EVO work correctly?
110psi, 30+ cfm if possible
Hi Scott,
I have a specialised car detailing business in Melbourne Australia, keen on getting into the dry ice sector, looking at the EVO and cold jet aero 2, any thoughts on Karcher 15/120, or Karcher’s upcoming machine with built in dry ice maker?
Would you suggest purchasing a dry ice maker?
Love your videos by the way, very easy and satisfying to watch.
Nick.
The Karcher unit is interesting but falls short of being effective for our use. The size of particles are too small to accomplish the removal needs often experienced. I also remember moving around those cylinders on the farm for welding. Never like rolling them around at 170 lbs. +.
Unless one uses 2000 lbs or more each week, I don't think one can justify the $100k dry ice production cost of just the equipment. I typically use 1000-1500 lbs a week.
@@ScottAles Hi again Scott,
Interested in purchasing the EVO, need to know what sought of equipment setup I will need as I’m starting from scratch, new premises.
Also looking at the Cold Jet through Cold Jet Australia.
Email me on nickagora@gmail.com
Thanks.
hello there, what is recommended air compressor of 022 evo? Thank you for your answer
32 cfm at 135 psi
Is this smaller machine capable of performing in depth cleans like you did on Matt's E36 M3?
No, it is not powerful enough to effectively clean thick cosmoline and grease off. It's better suited to maintain a car once it is cleaned to that level.
Are there any dealer in France ? Because I'm ready to program a demo and sign the check ! I've been looking at CO2 cleaning machines, but my shop is tiny and I cannot fit a big unit in there, but this one could definitely do the job !
YES! We have arranged for them to contact you.
I’m thinking of starting a mobile service with this machine. Trying to stay without a trailered compressor. Is a air dryer necessary with this unit? Thinking of using a box truck or utility van with proper ventilation for all equipment. Any suggestions? Much appreciated
Larry, we have 59 members of our Patreon community today and growing, check out our map here. www.drycenation.com Several of our guys are just completing their rigs and a few more finally getting the equipment to start their builds. Feel free to reach out through the website, all my contact info is there!
Scott, can this tackle on kitchen/restaurant cleaning?
I do not feel it would be a suitable solution for that application. I've never tried it, but then I've never tried using larger machines there either. Sorry I cannot be of more help.
I do a lot of interior detailing. How long wilit takes to clean the interior?
We use the EVO on interiors for sure, but in a very limited and measured way. I would not consider it to be a 100% solution for interiors. It works great on man made materials and to clean difficult places like AC vents, dash areas, cracks and crevices not easily cleaned previously. So please manage expectations!
Impressive technology. Is this unit 10,000 Canadian delivered to Vancouver, British Columbia. What size compressor would you need to run this.
Sorry, that would be $10,000 US plus duty and any import fees to Canada. 28 cfm or around 10 hp.
@@ScottAles Thank you.

You can buy it now. Go to the ICS website...
Scott might have to email you or call you about this.. Came from Tommy but the more I think about it, I think this tech and service could be very good for my untouched area code..
You know where to find us! www.drycenation.com
How would this do on painted or solid stained wood surfaces? Could it strip them to bare wood?
Not effectively. This machine is a two hose siphon design which would not satisfy your desire to strip paint. Our single hose more powerful machines would be required. They sell for $13k to $20k. US dollars.
This machine can clean the air conditioner inside ?
Hey scott, I have a question. I’m wondering about how much dry ice do you go through when cleaning a car? I’m not really sure how you guys would measure something like this maybe lbs/hour or minute but I’m just curious as to how fast you go through the dry ice
It always revolves around the client's expectations and if they have a budget. Typically, 500 to 750 lbs.
I’m assuming you mean for shipments but I was wondering about usage per car / per hour
@@codyk9084 nope, 500-750 lbs. Of dry ice per one car. Always depends on client expectations and the car. No 2 owners or cars are alike.
Hey Scott, you keep saying I probably have a big enough compressor to run it but because I'm in the market for a new compressor I'm not sure what that means. What size compressor do I need to run this?
We recommend a 10+ hp compressor with 40 cfm @ 130 psi. It's also critical that you include a desiccant dryer with similar specs. Not the little Harbor Freight versions.
I've never owned a car, never detailed a car, haven't driven a car in over a decade.. but I'm still interested.
This is on my list to get once I get my bearings straight.
Hi, Is this machine effective at removing carbon deposits inside car engines? Like on pistons and valves?
Yes, it is.
Can it remove "Calcium Build Up" on the glass windows? If it can then you guys can advertise that and people would buy it just for that reason alone among all the other uses for it.
Can this machine break glass if someone accidentally uses it during hot days like in the summer? If so that needs to be added in the manual just out of courtesy.
Especially since right now you guys are trying to sell a bunch of them, this thing has potential... But the advertising has to be perfect in list form with clickable links that are educational, as someone operates it.
I love this invention, wish I was able to buy one to clean cars with... People would love my work. : )
How much energy is required to clean one car? Like the cost as well, is there a graph that explains that? Once the math is presented to us people who might be interested then we won't hesitate to invest into one or more units.
This will also be great to restore antiques. 👍
If you subscribe to my RUclips channel and review previous posts, we cover most of these questions. We also have content with our retail partner (We're the importer, they retail the machines) www.obesessedgargae.com You can absolutely damage glass and a infinite amount of other materials and surfaces. It would be impossible to include instructions for every type of use. Like when you buy a pressure washer... How much does the dry ice cost for the car cleaning? Minus the cost of the machine.
Love the possibility of cleaning in a house.
.50 to .80 cents / lbs.
What's my options for dry ice purchase? My two dry ice providers in my area only provide block dry ice and irregular shards. What would be the most efficient way to convert these to pellets for this machine. I'm definitely interested if I can figure out my dry ice supply.

Yes, we use it on interiors also.
@@ScottAles Do you have any videos of you cleaning the dash, carpets, or seats?
How much it consume dry ice for a full car cleaning ??
I have to be careful with this answer to not mislead you or any other readers. There are no 2 jobs alike, along with the operators and how they use them. This machine is a value priced offering, it is possible but more time consuming to clean an entire car. So you need to bear that in mind. One of our EVO owners just finished a Porsche 911 using the ICS EVO featured in this video. We typically reserve 500-750 lbs. of dry ice for a job. It sometimes is way more, but also way less in other cases.

Nice to have yet too expensive for personal uses
We hear that often. My first machine 2 1/2 years ago was $45k. Currently, this $10k machine is the least costly in the US.
But when you consider the choices one makes, granite countertops, a set of wheels and tires, that $5k + vacation, and the myriad of other things which are luxuries that cost us money.
It's really a matter of priorities. And I fully respect that.
would you consider supplying me with the machinery required for 10% of profit to open my project in Iraq, in here no one even heard of it, it'll be revolutionary. ?
