- Hello,
In today's video I show you how to make a special bracelet from polymer clay with mica powder.
The technique is simple, but requires meticulous work and patience. I like doing it because it's a relaxing activity for me 😊
I hope this video will be useful and enjoyable for you!
Have a nice and creative day,
Agi
Materials and tools
- Mica powders:
The best mica powders are mirror nails powders because they are highly pigmented. I usually buy them on aliexpress. Here is a link:

- Texture sheet:
The texture sheet is a cake decorating silicone mold, which I also bought on Aliexpress. Here is a link:

Thank you! Many people asked this, so I put the link in the description below the video :-)
I find it very Zen to paint in such a fashion and I just received an order of 8 chameleon micas.
It looks very exciting, I would try it right away... :-)))
Oh Agi, this is superb, i was almost shouting saying noooooooo don't cut it up. 😢. The end pieces are fab tho. I have a large filigree mold of a peacock ( no idea why I bought it & and I haven't used it over 2 years ago ....Now I know what I can use it for. I'm going to make a piece of wall art & frame it. Thanks so much for sharing 😊🎉
😂 Thank you! 😍 Of course, that's why you shouldn't give up midway, the result should be beautiful at the end. I hope you will create a beautiful work! 👍🙂

Beautiful! Have you done these with white clay?
Thank you 🙂 No, these were made with black FIMO Leather clay.
I love this so much. Can you tell me what type of Fimo clay is used that bends like that?
I'm so glad you like this project. ☺️ I used FIMO Leather Effect clay. After baking this is like a leather. You can find information here:
www.staedtler.com/intl/en/discover/fimo-leather-effect-a-guide-to-getting-started-with-the-leather-like-modelling-clay/
Hermoso, con que material pinta
Gracias 😊, usé polvo de espejo para pintar. ¿Esta era la pregunta? Yo uso el traductor de Google...
Amazing work! what did you spray the texture sheet in the beginning?
Thank you 😊, I sprayed water on the clay.
Love your work. What is the flat applicator that you used to apply the gold?
Thank you 🙂 You can find information about the applicator here:
panpastel.com/knives-covers
Where PanPastel products are sold, you can probably buy this as well. It's a very good tool, I like working with it, it's worth buying! 🙂
Thank you so mu@@aginekojewelry
Superbe .Pourquoi fimo leather?
Merci beaucoup! Pourquoi fimo leather? Parce que je n'avais plus de fimo noir. (Je n'utilise jamais de premo pour la poudre mica.)
@@aginekojewelry Can I ask why you don't use Premo with micas? Thanks :)
Of course you can also use mica powders for Premo, but my experience is that mica powders are much nicer on Fimo. I don't know why, but the micas behave like a woman's makeup without foundation (on oily skin). Perhaps an older Premo works well because it is already a drier material.
What did you spray & how did you get those images?
I sprayed the texture sheet with water, so the clay can be easily removed. I took the picture. 😊
What did you use to attach clasp to the bracelet? I’m new at this☺️
This clasp can be fixed with glue. I used "Loctite Super Attack Precision" glue, but any other strong glue will work. 🙂
@@aginekojewelry thank you SO much for your quick reply. Your work in amazing😃
What brand and type of clay did you use.
I used black "FIMO Leather Effect" clay, you can see it in the video at 0:10 🙂
How much degree you bake?tell please🙏🏻🙏🏻
I used "FIMO Leather Effect" polymer clay, which should be baked at 130 degrees Celsius (= 265 degrees Fahrenheit). 😊
What is the baking temperature?
You bake it according to the baking instructions on the clay packet
@@MichelleJ1822 thanks. I know. But what I really want to learn is the flexibility of the clay in the video. I thought it might be different from the rating on the package. It had to harden in a normal firing (130-145 degrees for 30 minutes).
@@bugradogru6596 ok gotcha. Sorry about that. 😀
I used "FIMO Leather Effect" polymer clay, which looks like leather after baking. The clay should be baked at 130 degrees Celsius (265 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes. 😊
Amazing, I love your work. You have not posted anythink for a long time....is there everything ok with you? ❤
Thank you for your kind interest 🥰, I'm fine. I've been abroad with my husband since the end of January, I can't work with clay here 😥. We're finally going home on May 25th 😀, so I'll definitely have a new video in June!!!
@@aginekojewelry awesome🥰 keep up the good work. Best wishes! 😍
