At 4:45, on the external mixer page, note that you can configure the L and R inputs to be either separate mono inputs (aka Dual Mono, labelled "DUAL" on this page) or a single stereo input. You would typically use dual mono for two completely separate mono inputs (or just one). But if you're inputting a stereophonic signal like from the S-1, you would normally switch dual mono OFF so that the DT treats the L+R inputs as a single stereo source (e.g. there is only one delay, reverb, and balance control, as you'd expect).
Hello there. I hope you will shed some wisdom to my question…. Could i connect the S1 to the Digitakt so i can use the S1 in order to play the synth engine in the Digitakt (so use it as a midi keyboard for the digitakt) but at the same time have the Digitakt as the Master Clock that syncs everything to its tempo? Would it work sending Midi out from the S1 in order to play notes and send the Midi out of the Digitakt back into the S1 and use the S1 as a midi clock slave ?
@@saardean4481 hey, thanks for the question. I’ll will have to sit down and try this. As I read this, it’s Sunday morning and the coffee hasn’t fully circulated. If someone else sees this, perhaps they are of clearer mind and can impart the wisdom. I’ll work on it in the meantime.
OXI One controlling either device? Yep! I've not hooked it up yet to the Digitakt but it's on the radar to do. Not sure when I will get to it but will drop a banger of a video (that part is a stretch lol) down the road!
@krazywabbit you are quick! Yeah, I want to connect to the digitone or digitakt. I got the oxi one last year and haven't touched it (I've been in nursing school) but I did try to connect it to digitone once and had no idea what to do, so it's just sat on my desk ever since.

@@krazywabbit coffee is holy! Don’t mind cause of me. Whenever you feel like it , would appreciate if you have any feedback anytime. Cheers
Are you able to do one of these with the oxi one? I'm at a total loss.
