Fantastic video, Sarah! Truly appreciate all you do for our under eye look! Perhaps you can do a video on your top eye creams you use before doing concealor? Or did I miss that? Love that you narrowed down your top products, powders… thank yo7 so much. Am definitely going to get the Huda!👍👍💕
Correcter wise is the Neutrogena peach. I feel like my eyes really eat up my corrector and concealer but this one works well. I've been side eyeing the Pacifica concealer since your review. The fact that you are still using it means its a winner! Guess I'm headed to Ulta today. Also, I found the wet n wild chill powder is working very nicely! I finally understand what "finely milled" means in action!
I'm good with the Loreal Full Wear concealer. It seems like a dupe for the Huda Concealer, maybe even better, but i have to try them back to back. Just a thin layer blended out with a brush covers everything and looks great all day [I use a neutral warm shade that is the depth of my skin tone]. I "set it' with a dusting of any blurring powder on top, using a brush; because its a thin layer I don't need to use a lot of powder. Using a puff and powder invariably looks unnatural in daylight. I usually finish my makeup with a lighter powder foundation to highlight under my eyes and the center of my face (Jcat aquasurance) instead of using a lighter concealer for that. Looks great, lasts all day pretty much intact in 100°f weather. It truly is waterproof and in this weather I'm sweating almost as much as during a workout throughout most of the day. I use 405 Tofee (I use Nars Valencia fndtn), its not yellow or pink looking. I'm curious about your two step process. I'm sure I have some of these products in my stash, ill try it. Just wanted to share how great the Loreal concealer turned out to be: waterproof, full coverage, smooth. I used to not like it, because i applied it too heavily, but its perfect using a little with a brush to smooth it into a thin layer. I'm sure you have it in your stash, it might surprise you if you try it again ❤.
So glad to find you today. I’ve been fighting my under eye circles of death my entire 54 years. I actually have most of these products because I’ve tried everything. Just not the bare minerals powder concealer or the Uoma. . My thought when that when it came out was no way a powder concealer was touching these circles so I ignored it, but your technique with applying as the last layer is intriguing. I also may buy the Uoma powder, I’m using the Givenchy pink now which was an investment. Add to cart😊
Your makeup is absolutely flawless today. I watch these videos. I try to duplicate what you do using the same products but I STILL seem to have noticeable dark circles! I have it under my eye, the outer corners and lids. Ok, I'm basically a reverse raccoon. I keep trying!
Concealer can't help with shadows from sunken under eyes. Judge the concealer looking straight into a light source, maybe thats the issue. Or perhaps you are using concealers that are lighter than your skintone, that won't work if you have significant under eye darkness, it will look a bit gray. If I were you id try an affordable, full coverage concealer (Loreal and covergirl have those) in shades close to your skintone but with a couple different undertones ( neutral-yellow/golden, neutral-peach/salmon, neutral-pink) to see which corrects better for you. Mine are pretty sunken, and significantly darker than my skintone. I just use a thin layer of a full coverage concealer in a neutral warm shade thats very close to the depth of color of my skintone (Loreal Full Wear Concealer), i use a small amount and spread it out with a brush to a thin layer, then I dust a small amount of blurring powder on top with a brush just to finish it. Setting with a powder puff looks unnatural in daylight (because its more powder) though she may need to go that route because she's applying more layers of concealer. More concealer needs more powder. But more of everything looks like makeup, not skin. I finish with a thin layer of a full coverage powder foundation in a lighter shade under the eyes and my tzone (Jcat Aquasurance) to highlight.
You've convinced me to get the Huda faux filter concealer. I like that it's not as thick as the Tarte shape tape. Can you swatch all of the shades or at least in the light-medium /medium-tan category? I've tried looking for swatches on RUclips. It's hard to tell since the concealer oxidizes.
Thank you for your content. I am not a subscriber but I love your content and you have a lovely personality. I am still learning about make up and this channel is very helpful. So thank you again!
Hi Sarah because of you I had to get my hands on the smashbox x Becca corrector so thank you for that lol I just wanted to ask, I was blown away with blending out your concealers with the triangle powder puff..it truly gives you that coverage…now my question is do you use it damp or not?
@@fossil1127hi, may I ask is it the usual powder puff that we use with loose powder? I’m confused… I thought the texture(?) of powder puff is only suitable for powder. We can use it to blend liquid/cream products?
My go to color corrector is the Charlotte Tilbury one, which you also recommended. It’s awesome and I personally like it better than the Becca color corrector.
Thank u for the recommendations. I am 55yo with tan skin. I have dry undereyes with dark circles and some fine lines. I prefer light/medium coverage with hydrating formula.
I have smash box , a neutrogena and the elf color corrector. The elf does not stay all day I do not reach for it. The neutrogena is a a little thicker and grips better. The smash box does brighten very very well. Sometimes too well, my suggestion use a wee bit darker concealer with it or a different undertone.
Hi Sarah I definitely needed to see this video I have the sigma corrector and love it i liked how u mentioned the concealers and powders u used with it i have to give it a try thank you❤
Thank you so so much for all your tips! You have saved me a LOT of money and time searching for the right products for me. I also have dark circles and a slightly ligher complextion than you, so all your videos are extremely helpful and educating. I love the Tarte concealer, and will be trying Huda Beauty next of course!
@ Horizon R Do you know any less creamy under eye corrector? I am looking to cover my melasma. Right now I am using Becca which works great, since it's creamy it slides and doesn't last all day on my cheeks. Thank you
Thank you for this video , im in my 20s but i definitely have always had some under eye darkness since i was a lil girl, im about to go buy the elf color corrector, pacifica concealer & milani powder ❤
Estoy esperando tu video sobre el pre corrector prisme libre de givenchy , quisiera saber si es mejor que el Smashbox X Becca, no he podido conseguir el tono durazno para poder probarlo ... Saludos!
Sarah, absolutely love your vids. I have to say the Huda concealer is my fave (it was the Lancome) and as I have difficulty getting hold of the Smashnox corrector, I use the Beauty pie 1 which is the best as I have dry undereyes. The ended not trying the Natasha concealer because many reviews say it is drying and I am am already happy with the Huda 1. I did try the new Huda Glowish but coverage was insufficient. Thank you. x
This sounds crazy, but I think you'd really like Wet 'n Wild Photo Focus loose powder. Most Wet 'n Wild products aren't that great, but this one is amazing.
Hi Sarah. How about Pat McGrath concealer? I thought there was a period of time the Pat McGrath was a holy grail for you so I was wondering have you stopped using that?
Love ur reviews and in a hunt for good corrector and the Sigma caught my interest. Have you tried LA Girl pressed pigment they help with your shade on foundation and concealer
Hi, Sarah I really, really like your top recommendations videos! I use Clinique foundation and they came out with concealers & corrector, I would love it if you did a review😊 I love your honest and true opinions thanks!!
Still testing all your recommendations 🙈😁 but here are a couple of powders I would love your opinion on - By Terry has a pink pressed powder (it comes in a quad) and Givenchy has a pink/rose loose powder (but has fragrance)
