Isn’t it funny how the increase in “Covid” was proportional to the decrease in flus last year? Parasite politicians don’t want small businesses and the people that work hard to start and maintain them. Sad that people and businesses allow these parasites to dictate to them what they will and will not do.
It sure looks like it's worth the wait. The food looks so ono! Too bad I live on another island. If you've made it this far, your chances are good that you'll survive. You have such wonderful, loyal customers. Best wishes!
I remember when my parents used to pick up okazu from Fukuya when I was growing up, and I'm sure I've eaten their food at catered events. Then last year when the first pandemic lockdown started, I was living in the area, so I didn't mind standing in line (only three people allowed inside at a time) about once a week because their food is so familiar and 'ono, but it's best to get there before noon for lunch because many of the popular dishes or items are sold out by then. I'm glad they have still survived.

I 💘 Fukuya. I miss all the aunties and their recipes especially the tiger 🐅 brownies 😢 one of them made. Bring back the Tiger 🐅 brownies please. I still go in and look for them but so sad no more!

When its my 'turn'....I probably will cater Fukuya's....when my brother passed, I looked thru his phone and he had 3/4 of his phone, thru Fukuyas.....unfortunately we had to go to "I"....
Is Glazers Coffee down the street still doing well? I'm stuck overseas in a different country (not US) and I was pretty close to the owner. Does anyone know?
Just think how expensive it is for them to run! With the 50% increase on all shipping of " Young Brothers" ! Auwe! Hard fo everybody! But Fukuya still going! Bless and support all local !
How about introducing paper bags, waxed cardboard and wooden chop stick, wooden forks, spoons and knifes? Ditch the plastic and styrofoam. Hawaii should lead the world in environmental preservation.
They catered my nana’s memorial. The food is ono! Wishing you the best of luck
We all need to support Local Hawaii Businesses! YOU GOT THIS FUKUYA! 👍🏼🤙STAY STRONG!
