this is highly specific byt i'm cultivating a playlist of "carving wood into animals asmr" because my favorite character does that as his profession and I want to dream about him. This is literally the best video for that, considering his favorites are birds. Immediately into the playlist.
@andyantony6638 also love the pattern of referring to characters with no last name as Character Content, with the content they're in as if it's their last name. First Sans Undertale, now Hunter Owl House.
Dude. you kept me company while i was EV train some pokemons on old gens and the way you took that raw block of wood and slowly giving it the more precise and harmonious shape with efforts and precisions made me feel like we were connecting to each others. you rocks .
for some reason, woodcarving is one of the only things i can watch and be fully immersed. i usually have two things im doing at once (watching a video and playing a game for example) but with woodcarving i just cant take my eyes off of it. i feel so centered and grounded, all because someone is making a bird out of wood. thank you :)
This was such a nice video; the sounds were excellent, and the finished piece is so cute and well done! The robin at the end was a wonderful way to end the video, too! :)
Very beautiful bird you did, pal! Love the final part when the little robin looks kinda confused when it's taking a bath, haha! Wish ya the best, keep up the amazing carvings and art!❤
Beautiful and well done! I find hand crafts soothing but rarely settle into one for more than a little while. Maybe I’ll pick up woodcarving once i get my dad’s old knife sharpened… and a reinforced glove, and some wood, and some- you know, maybe I’ll just stick to knitting for now LOL :P
I love your work. It inspired me to try it myself. I plan on making a dove and a lioness and cub pair to match. If you don't mind what tools do you suggest I try to find to start out with?
It's a Marttiini Eagle knife and in the other video it's a Wild Boar. I have tried cheaper carving knives but the steel on those are not of good quality so they dull quickly, so I prefer these knives. A far cheaper but very comfortable knife is the Marttiini Lynx lumberjack I rarely need to resharpen that knife 😀 Link to their website: www.marttiini.fi/epages/MarttiiniShop.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/MarttiiniShop/Categories/Tuotteet/Designpuukot

Sorry for the late upload! I have been extremely busy with work and school 😅 Hope you enjoy this one!
What a nice blackbird - you really captured its character. What type of timber are you carving?
@@popsfreshenmeyer2244 I am using Linden wood/Basswood. If you get a piece without knots in it the wood is easy to carve
Loved it!
What do you study?

Let me guess, Hunter Owl House? You’ve got some taste. Maybe it’s time to pick up a new hobby and carve your own Palisman :)
@@andyantony6638 HAHA. YEP
@andyantony6638 I've actually always wanted to do woodcarving but never had wood for it lol

this made me feel so validated bc i’m doing the exact same thing 😭❤️

Thank you! I'm glad the robin showed up they're usually a bit shy here

I love the way it turned out! The ending was so worth it, too!
Thanks for helping me focus on work :) The carving came out nice, and I liked the footage at the end.
What an adorable bird you finished up with.

Amazing asmr
In the beginning, I was like, "That's a bird?" 🤨 In the end, I was like, "That's a bird!!" 😮
Beautiful knife
Beautiful carving. Very relaxing. What knife are you using and where can I find it? Thanks so much. Scott
Marttiini
that is cool 😊
43:11 😆😆 another satisfying sound
Nice 🙂
0:54 I like these cuts
"That’s not a knoyfe..THIS is a knoyfe"
The blackbird is nice, he is also a male with a waxy nose.
The bird looks great!!! I want to try wood carving, do you mind telling me what kind of wood you recommend for a beginner?
Linden wood/bass wood is what I use and it’s commonly available in most parts of the world
Do more!
this is going in my baby sensory playlist
why does the noise of wood being carved tickle my brain
do you improvise when u carve wood? Is it almost like drawing?
That knife is great! What kind where from?

He's using Linden wood/Basswood, according to one of his comments.

10:12 did your stomach just growled?😂
Hope you’ll be back
What material is this?
can anybody tell me how he soften and smoothed out the wood in 40:12
Probably by sanding it down
Sandpaper
what kind of wood do you use
Just a guess but could be balsa wood
Not sure that knife is big enough😉
Bro I come here to try and escape those inappropriate asmr videos, and then I see you 😭

🪵💤😴
Wish I could carve an eagle🤔
Make sure it is well cooked first.
