- The location is Chihuahua Mexico in the state of chihuahua and we are going to try some Mexican taco's Chihuahua style. Each region in Mexico has their own thing going when it comes to tacos so they're never really the same everywhere you go so when in Chihuahua I had to stop and try out some tacos.

That Chuleta de Puerco looked delicioso Volpe. Chipotle chili is simply a smoked dried jalapeno chili. I like the salsa's made with it, without them being pickled, which is what most Norteamericano's are used to. That dark red salsa looked like the unpickled kind of chipotle, not real spicy, but very flavorful and smokey. I've never tried those tree chili's; I've heard they are pretty spicey. I've never tried that kind of cheese either, was it salty?

@@Dana-ie2bh it's just cultural difference. Down here "costillita" literally means "chop", and we use it for any kind of meat, even beef.

I love how the meat/Volpe, And Vegetables/Cheese for Sophie is seperate, So you add them to the tortillas instead of the meat/vegetables already in the tortilla. ❤️

Im not a fan of cheese on tacos but that did look good though. Ive been to almost every taco stand in Tijuana over the years and Ive never seen a T bone added with the carne plate before, that was impressive. I wonder if it actually added flavor to the beef?

Archie, in Sonora they have tacos called ‘rasurados’ which means shave. They grill meat and ‘shave’ it off the bones. (Beef ribs, Tbones, bone in ribeye, etc. They also serve tacos de costilla where they literally serve a slice rib bone (with meat) between tortillas. There’s tons of tacos no one has ever heard about. Gringos think because they’ve traveled to a few spots their off the beaten path. Lol…way more to Mexico than that, way more…lol
