Great presentation on digital twin visualizations with Unreal Engine. Amazing stuff! Looking forward to seeing more on this subject and exploring this using an Archicad to Unreal workflow.
Quite often, examples of digital twins seem to be redundant as the raw sensor data is sufficient to inform the relevant parties about the building. The 3d visualisations can be important in certain situations, but I think we are going to see an initial rush do digitise everything before the actual useful purposes emerge from the ruins
Great video. Would it be practical to implement this in building automation systems? (real time particles and their effect on the temperature) or just in the build phase to see the airflow and cooling heating rates? You mentioned there were sensors detecting when people were present, does that mean you could automatically have the HVAC turn on instead of have to schedule the event?
I was trying to package a project but it continues to not let me. In the output log i see this "Expecting to find a type to be declared in a module rules named 'AdtLink' in 'UE5Rules, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. This type must derive from the 'ModuleRules' type defined by UnrealBuildTool." Does anyone recognise this error?
What’s the value you get from this? Sensor data can be visualized independently from the 3d model..the whole temperature propagation system can be simulated conceptually on other non real-time platforms..in terms of monitoring a space how can we make use of this in a practical day to day thing?
It feels like as a new concept, people don't see how to actually add value with digital twins yet but are typically desperate to apply this new fun thing everywhere. Eventually a useful implementation will emerge
@08:00 during the setup, i face the issue - "Something went wrong with the resource group deployment. Ending script". Line 463, pls help. Not able to create and download 'unreal-plugin-config.json' & 'mock-devices.json' files. Cant proceed!
Could you please suggest a tutorial where I can learn more about connecting Azure to UE5 for digital twins? Looking for something at a beginner level if possible :)
So I tried out this approach, the github project is either broken or something else is causing an issue with the deploy.ps1 script - it ends up with an error that is hard to bypass. Without the resource group, it is not possible to recreate this project...
how i get configuration files i create account in this cloud but it is no file ue4 do i should upload the example first to this or what ? @ Unreal Engine

only coming across this now, and the link for ADTLink, says not for sale, when i try in Marketplace, its not listed at all, is it available? for UE 5?
