- I purchased this 1959 Spiegel catalog at the flea market on Monday, and I thought you'd like to take some time to see inside! Look at these wonderful 1950s fashions!

I love this so much! I ordered from Spiegel when I was living in Germany in the 1980's. They had great things and great prices. I loved that company so much so I was happy to see this older catalog today. Just wonderful!👚
Heels, hose, hats, and gloves! Petticoats, girdles, and garter belts! All those things you had to put on!
It’s interesting the items they chose to print in color; they seem to be mainly things that would appeal to the woman shopper.

Good afternoon Diane 🥤 I remember looking through my Great Aunt's Spiegel catalogs when I was young.📖 It was my entertainment when we would visit. 🙂 The ladies were so classy. 👠👛📿 I thought you had to be rich to dress like that.💰💰 I was only about 6 or 7. I couldn’t believe it when I saw this. My mom bought me this cover dress in 1959 and it was my first ever dress from Spiegel. I got it in a royal blue. I was only 15 at the time. I was just thinking about this dress a few days ago as it was one of my favorite things ever.
