This fight was easily well above the last Live action fight Nightwing vs Daredevil, and as a whole it’s up there as one of, if not the best Fight in this season so far
Knowing who wins, one thing that gets me about this fight is that sad piano music that plays when Jason hangs up on Bruce. It's like the music is saying "This is the last time you talk to Bruce, and he accused you of murder."

I totally agree, they didn’t go into depth on their rational for Bucky winning which is really concerning since red hood’s stats and arsenal seem better than bucky’s especially in durability (with the serum), stealth, and strength (with the serum). They didn’t include many of hood’s standard arsenal. Jason Todd is no longer limited to using the all-blades for pure evil; he can use it whenever he wants now so they got that wrong too. And I also agree that hood’s skill trumps Bucky’s extra years of fighting communist fodder. 2 years training with lady shiva is far superior than training with military commandos for 6 years, jst sayin. If Jason can tank a bazooka to the face and multiple hits from an enraged bizarro and still get up to fight, I can not easily believe Bucky edges out hood especially with DB’s very simple analysis in the video.
Yeah, some of the reasoning just doesn't work the best for me. This was still an enjoyable episode and I can accept Bucky winning, but I do wish their conclusions were better put together
The Rappter yeah I agree, the actual live fight was stunning and I appreciate and commend all the work that was put into the fight. However, I’m not to keen on the analysis. So at least for now, I don’t accept Bucky winning. I was hoping they would go into depth a bit more on their usual Q&A on the following DB Cast but they strangely shrugged it off and said they were going to skip it since there were no notable questions from the fans which is kinda concerning since I’ve seen many notable gripes with the analysis in the comment section of the video on RUclips and their social medias. DB has been pretty good with their analyses lately and actually seem to gradually get better over time, but for some reason, this specific fight analysis has me having flashbacks of analyses from season 1 which is not good. Very sketchy approach to this matchup to say the least. I’m kinda thinking that there may have been some research findings found during the production of the live fight that would effect the fight but would not be able to be implemented into the live fight due to timing and legistical issues. So they may have negated/nerfed certain aspects of the characters like hood’s all blades. Also since DB finalizes most of their research and fight production months before the video release, they may have had to side step some of the characters notable feats and arsenals from the ongoing comic releases up until the fight. This would especially effect red hood since he has had many comic issues this year with the (outlaws series). I hope they do these characters justice and at least give a better explanation in the future, but until then, Red hood is the true winner.
In fairness to Jason, Bucky's experience is more of a way to catch-up to Jason's skill. Typically most DC "street tier" fighters have insane skill levels, and Jason himself has beaten nearly every member of the Bat-family at least once (Heck, he would've beaten Batman in their first encounter since becoming Red Hood had Nightwing not intervened). Additionally, they both have Relativistic+ to Light-speed reactions, scaling well above casual lightning-timing feats and characters with nanosecond reactions. However Bucky's experience was definitely just enough to keep up with Jason, and his sheer strength advantage guaranteed his win (DB's research blog puts Bucky at almost 10x stronger than Jason, meaning Venom juice would just barely close the gap, but sadly it dulls down his thinking). Besides skill and strength, they're both incredibly even in every other category and Jason could theoretically pull a win in some scenarios, but Bucky takes in more often than not. Easily one of my favorite Death Battles even outside this season and its great to someone else enjoy it too!
What I wanna see is a Battle Royale with some of the Fire Emblem Main Protagonists. In particular Robin from Awakening, Corrin from Fates and Byleth from Three Houses.
I personally Disagree with Winter solider Winning. I don't hate Bucky I just don't think his as deadly as Jason. the Pre 52 Version of the character was especially Calculated and Brutal. Wouldn't shock me if he hacked bucks robotic arm off just to neutralise the advantage it gives him. ya gotta remmber he was shown in lost days and Under the hood to be very twisted at times
They both have guns and they can use them so 90% of the fight will be hand to hand? But other than that the fight was awsome the two actors did really good job. The analysis was really bad even if you compare that to Death battle standard I wuld said it was below average. Why WS win? Because infinity formula. What is that? I have no idea. Well I know what infinity formula is but not thanks to them, it look like they pull some feats at random. You mentioned Red Hoods swords but where was that falmetrower? and more things. The next one, I have no idea who Crona is.
Even though Bucky was a kid during world war 2 in the comics I prefer it when he was an adult during the war like in the movies. Because I think it’s weird to have a kid in the war
The Rappter I think that was the point behind Bucky’s “Death”. Stan Lee himself didn’t have have much liking for kid Sidekicks under the pretext of “kids meeting and fighting with their favorite heroes” as the idea of bringing a kid not just to war but to the crime-fighting life in general is kinda dangerous to the life of the kid. And really, for as much as i love the former sidekicks like the Robins (Nightwing, Red Hood) and the Kid Flash (Wally West) i have to admit. Stan the Man had a good point there. Didn’t really help that DC quite literally had their audience dispose of the 2nd Robin for not being a good enough Sidekick, Which kinda proves Stan Lee right if you think about it. not only are Sidekicks exposed to great danger in a daily basis, they are also disposable, so if a sidekick dies “we’ll just get another one”
It finally happened your Winning is broken the first WWAW fight proven wrong by DB. To be fare I'm not sure but since that WWAW I'm sure winter soldier grew more powerful over the years right?
