Serious question, do these players wear ear-plugs? If not, what steps are taken to ensure no long term damage to their ear-drums caused by the beating of the drums and pitch of the crashing cymbals? I know from my own experiences playing in bands how sensitive the ears are and long term damage creeping up on one's hearing.
@@victirynom I am assuming that risk assessments are done in this regards and the persons with overall responsibility for the Health, Safety and Welfare of these young people will have the matter in hand. Given the litigious nature of society and the rising concern in regards to hearing loss any leader worth their salt would have this in hand. I am based in the UK so difficult for me to do as you suggest. I shall continue to enjoy all the best these bands put out.
