I enjoy your short, ambiguous, visual poems about life, mortality, etc. I particularly like how you emphasize the natural evironment. At times it seems you make it more than just the background; it's like nature is so NOT in the background (as it so often is in movies) that it's almost like a character. And that we don't hear the soldier's speaking, the silence of it, paired with the abundant shots of nature, make for an unusually naturalistic vision. This is all great! :)
You just earned a new follower, LBRM. It did have a fairly steady rhythm, and a simple/neat story. This was very well made for an independent filmmaker and I respect that a lot, so awesome work bro. If you feel like it, you could check out my stuff if you want and let me know what you think, perhaps sub to see what's coming up. That would be awesome from filmmaker to filmmaker.
You've got a lot to read I think. That would have been a clear picture of "how it was at all." Could be wrong, but the call was older. However, it is not a reproach this, but simply note. I think Directors work closely with professional historians. I hope that they work.
*russian accent* Soviet sniper santa should have been the one there, at least I would have hit all my targets without wasting bullets (XD it's a character I made in unturned and a lot of people either get mad at my sniping skills or they find it funny)

Well done guys, look what young actors. the only thing that would have been nice if the soldiers were at least 3-4 years older.

I like it but, honestly your helmet wouldn't be just gray..they'd paint some spots white.
