This talk is designed to appeal to women. For the couple in question, the one the Rabbi was describing, it is very possible the woman never liked anything the guy came up with so he simply decided to do what she wanted. Now, he’s being weak. Pointing the finger at the guy for being weak is not appropriate when we don’t know enough. Seriously, that couple are not right for each other and they should get divorced asap. I hope they did.
As for the woman in this video, whoever she is, she is generalising. Women are more balanced etc etc. Men are more physical Yadda Yadda. So women are superior ? Of course men are more physical. They are expected to handle the physical things.
I’m afraid if men are not alpha enough for the woman nothing they do will ever be right. A man needs to use good judgement in choosing the partner that’s right for him.

Better quality men isn't available to all of us. If you're a black woman in America you naturally have access to 14% of the population. Hopefully you have access enough to other race of men to open your perspective and access. If not. You are dealing with on average the most oppressed and I disenfranchised men in America. You are looking for the outlier in your small group of people. Most black males are needy because of white patriarchy. I'm not white and haven't dated white men but what the media is showing is that white woman are feeling oppressed too.
God needs humans? Humans need God? If one proposition is absurd, both must be held equally absurd. An infinite all powerful being needs a limited finite creation to do things for Him? He literally spoke all existence into being, why would he NEED the human to do anything when if God wanted it done, He had only to speak and it would be? Is the end result what is most important, or the means to get there? Is it about the destination or the journey? Isn't the truly correct answer just YES.
Or are we to believe God created humans because He decided to outsource after the 5th day?
Sad outlook…. Can’t say I can “correct” you, but it is my opinion that God strongly desires a loving relationship with us, His Creation. Life is about love, relationships, and responsibility. Without these things we are lonely and lack meaning, that is how we are made in God’s image. We are His people and He is our God, this is the “correct” order. When this is not adhered to, we are sad and lonely, and God is too ❤💔❤️
@@polarisjustdothework2258 my issue is the way it's framed. I watched this and the message I heard was God needs us to serve Him. Ok. Fair enough. But why? No answer. Just that's what we're supposed to do.
Not "God wants a relationship with us" and we get that through serving. Just... we're here to serve Him. Not for anything else but because thats what He made us for. Hence the outsourcing remark.
If humans need God then the human is needy. If God needs humans how is it that He's not needy? Because He's God and we're not?
That's not a good justification, that's the last resort of a frustrated parent "Because I said so!".
Perhaps my thinking is distorted and I am drawing the wrong conclusions from the video?
We were created to image Him. If He needs us, shouldn't we also need Him? Shouldn't we need each other? Yet the video seems to suggest otherwise. We should be completely separated from each other.
If thats the case, why bother with creating us separate? Why bother with anything? The infinite needs the finite but the finite doesn't need the infinite or the other finites? Then why create finite living beings with free will, wants, needs, desires, emotions? Those will all get in the way of being a better more dedicated worker.
But what are we even working for if God could speak anything into being if it pleases Him? Did He over do it on the 5th day, and throw out his back? Decide that He needed someone to do gardening for Him?
Are we just his employees? His unpaid interns, since we're not supposed to want anything but to work for the sake of working?
Admittedly then some of us are pretty good. We come in early, work through lunch, we stay late, we come in on the weekends, we live to do the job and don't ask or expect anything except to be allowed to keep working in perpetuity.
Some of us on the other hand are terrible, we come in late, take frequent smoke breaks, leave early, call in "sick" every few days, and it's a wonder and a very unusual day if we get really anything of significance accomplished and our coworkers marvel how we haven't been fired altogether yet, when they're not grumbling about how we don't pull our fair share of the weight and leave a mess of things that they have to pick up for us.
Please if you can correct me. I'd like to be totally wrong and just told that I've misunderstood something somewhere from the Rabbi in this video.
I thought we were supposed to be in a loving relationship with each other and with God, that was why He created us. But this seems to suggest otherwise entirely. We shouldn't need anything or anyone, and it's wrong if we do.
But if it's wrong then why allow it in the first place? Why is need or want part of our existence? Further, if we are not supposed to need, what would there be to do as service to God if no one needs anyone or anything? Are we built with feeling need on purpose in order to give us something to do while we're down here? Then to what end?
The alternative is equally absurd. God created humans because He needed to be needed? Surely not. But no answer seems true and fully satisfying.
This feels like a circular logic puzzle that is missing pieces somewhere. Why are we here? Does God need us but not want us? That's lonely. Does God want us, but not need us? Equally as lonely.
The only answer seems to be both. He needs us and wants us. Otherwise we're just a means to some end, and it's all meaningless noise, we're just here because we're here. None of us asked to be here, but we're here, so now what? There's just as many reasons to stay as to leave.
It's a very lonely place to need and not have, and then be told you don't need, you shouldn't need, and if you do, it's wrong. It's a total invalidation by saying "You don't need. God needs."
God needs? God is perfect, infinite and all powerful. He can do anything He wants, if He has a need, why does He need me? What does He need me for? He can do anything He wants and make it so. Why is He purposely choosing not to do it Himself for Himself? Why if the end goal is so important would He need to have someone else less capable, more limited and flawed do it for Him? It doesn't make sense.
If you want a job done and done right, to your exact specifications, and you could do it yourself, why would you then ask or expect someone else to do it for you? They're not going to get done nearly it as good as if you did it yourself, they're not going to care about it as much as you are. They can't. So why bring them on at all in the first place?
@@thegrimharvest you may be overtaking lol. I think it's a labor of love, and what is produced is joy and love. We are free, however, to find meaning in that or just waste away down here until our death. God knows the meaning and we don't. The word "need" is just a word. Maybe God needs us to understand His plan for us while He Provides for all of our "human needs" physically 💞
