Hmmm, another benefit with this Mythic is the fact that it doesn't require gold items to get the full benefits, meaning that you won't lose that much if you go with purple.

It's good. This is quick and easy and gives similar stats to the setup you listed but is always on. The thing with proc sets, if you can trigger and maintain them they will have higher peaks for damage - especially balorgh with 500 ult. The defence will be lower on your setup so do factor that in.
Testing the mythical out and what it offers over most other sets is a slight increase in recovery with a very good bump to defense. Damage wise I get more for deadly with kynmarcher or war maiden. Recovery wise it’s about the same as wretched. Defense wise it like wearing sift but it applies to all sources of incoming damage. I tried it on my Warden, Sorc and Templar. It works great on a WW Templar, imo better than a vampire Templar. You get additional stamina recovery and stamina once transformed. After messing around a bit I also use repentance and forgo resolving vigor. By using repentance I can swap a jewelry trait for more damage, resistance or whatever I find I need. Overall this mythical item is a bit underwhelming when compared to Oakensoul. Oakensoul imo is better as it simply the game down to one bar. This set needs 500 health recovery, 1k magic, and 1k stamina added to it. At that point it would be on par with oakensoul.
Are you still running this? I just recently went back to my Templar and it's a magic Templar (high elf), running deadly, rally cry, balorgh. Seems to still head hard, but I'm interested in switching it up, but farming this mythic has been a pain
This mythic is made for templar. It is crazy good. Rally + wretched + balorgh is essentially this mythic but this mythic is always up. Rally + essence thief is good. Balorgh can be swapped to marsalok for more damage or use a regen monster set like roska or 1 magma and 1 Baron thrisk.
It disables other items but on templar this is worth it due to their passives and skills etc. The mythic is 2 damage sets, a sustain set and 1 and half defence sets. Total is 3 and half sets which makes it very good.
@ryanm8528 the issue with the scribbed skills is templar actually has very good class skills. Most scribbed skills are for either: - burst heal (wield soul) - spamable (wield soul / dual wield on niche builds) - stun (shield throw or wield soul) - aoe heal/shield (contingency) Templar has these already and are better than the scribbed options in most cases

Your damage is too low in all honesty. You need a damage set OR you abuse corrosive and use that - stack whip 3 times, corrosive then stun into whip for decent burst. Without a damage set you will struggle. Most pvp builds have 5-6k weapon damage always (infused jewellery, melee weapons, medium armour x3+) - this is more true on a DK. My 1 item dk has over 7k weapon damage always. You can get the same with ralling cry, infused jewellery weapon damage, damage set of choice + sustain monster set like BS as your ult gives you resources.
Templar needs some desperate love from zos next patch. The fact that templar has to drop its core class identity skill, cleanse, is ridiculous. There’s no reason why other classes can have several buffs in one skill while templar gets nothing.
Meanwhile templar has jabs that gives their damage buff, an armour buff that gives regen, an execute that can't be dodged and gives magicka and health back whilst used, a delayed burst skill that also applies minor breach, a burst heal that refunds most of its cost... year templar has 'bad' skills. The issue I find with templar is that the skills are very good and you end up having to pick what to drop - you could drop camo hunter for cleanse easily on this build.

It works for solo play. For those who play with raw stats over proc sets it’s honestly a great PvP mythic. More damage recovery and defense than if your wore clever wretched and added a pariah.

By separating the two, people can find what they want thus helps ensure people get the information that need and don't misunderstand something i.e. you may show something key in gameplay that they miss or in the build which if they only see gameplay and sets may miss why we chose specific skills etc. In short, those who want the build can and those who want to see it in action can watch it then check the build video. I also stream and show builds on stream every Saturday!

This Mythic is really good on every class when you know what you do. Also it brings Werewolf back. I play it on an Arcanist Werewolf and i love it

Not at all, Oakensoul pales in comparison and loses 9/10 fights hands down to the Torc

Most scribbed skills are for either:
- burst heal (wield soul)
- spamable (wield soul / dual wield on niche builds)
- stun (shield throw or wield soul)
- aoe heal/shield (contingency)

Yeah it's been fixed - I use it on my nb, werwwolf etc. It was bugged in no cp cyrodiil not bgs.

Yes but I found it was better doing up to arc 3 then retry. Only side rooms and final glass boss drop leads. Goblins too.

On the pts. This let's you gold everything and have infinite money....

The fact you can get these stats without needing say ralling cry, clever alch etc. is very good - especially on a 1 item build in effect.
