I ran this build in BG's this weekend on deathmatch. I healed for 1.9m with only 1 death. The whole fight we were in the middle battling another 4 man grp. They rarely killed us. Still a viable build. Probably could use a tweak with all the changes.
Awesome! I plan to test it out swapping Seeds for Healing Contingency from the other builds on the channel since scribing launched. I'm glad it worked so well for you and thank you for letting me know!🙏
THANK YOU for watching! Also, I plead the fifth for any misspellings. I'm not exporting this monster again haha. NOTE 1: Jewelry enchants are Spell Damage. NOTE 2: The High Elf passive Spell Recharge will return stamina on class ability use for this set up. It is still a great choice in class for the build with its Magicka + Spell damage and then constant stamina sustain to help with our lack of maximum stamina discussed in the video. NOTE 3: This is in response to a great comment below regarding using 1 pc Druid and 1 pc Trainee instead of Endurance: Hi Rob! That is a perfectly fine set up as well! I was torn on the final version of what to present. I probably had a good 5-7 variations of the set up at the end. (Druid's wasn't in any of them though. Idk why but I just cant ever seem to get that set on my radar, no matter how many times I have been reminded of it haha. I never remember it even exists honestly.) In the end, I knew I didn't want people to have to craft any jewelry or farm up transmute crystals to re-trait jewelry with the options I had (Oakensoul is the only variable to that). Jewelry crafting is crazy expensive and that is usually where people are short traits to craft as well. Endurance is easy to get, very cheap to buy in already purple quality, and can come with the healthy trait. It felt like the most well-rounded solution for the most amount of people. Your version is unquestionably better in output however. This locked in endurance for me as my choice: us.tamrieltradecentre.com/pc/Trade/SearchResult?ItemNamePattern=endurance&ItemCategory1ID=1&ItemCategory2ID=6&ItemTraitID=18&ItemQualityID=3&SortBy=Price&Order=asc
My Dad made this for me 3 weeks ago, and I've been #1 in almost every BG and a huge part of the success in Cyro for EP. I'll send videos if I can. This is my favorite character because he even heals trials and the new HM Dungeons. Thx again Dooma!!!
@AIex777 For me, it certainly has been. I haven't been killed in a 1v1 yet. Typically takes between 4 to 10 to put me down. In PVE I never die and have even tanked veteran dungeon bosses a few times. I will say the addition of Tarnished Nightmare set seems to have weakened the build somehow, because I was pretty invincible before it except vs a zerg, but since then I've dropped vs 2 NBs a couple times. Though Dooma could probably teach me a thing or two regarding the reasoning behind my failures. All in all this is a super champion build and I'll play it til he updates it or gives us a better one!
@AIex777 Dooma gave an update a week ago. He's currently recovering from surgery, both he and his dog. Hopefully he will return soon in good health! But yes, it is wonderful to have such a great helper. I work very few jobs as a 13 yr old, but would love to subscribe to help keep him on here.
I have never been to this channel before. The production quality on this video is insane. As is the build. I think my only personal change would be dropping Chokethorn for Ozezan.
@@imatowel5930 Hi Towlie! Check out the question and my reply to "Kieran Roberts" here in these comments. I gave a fairly in depth answer to this specific question. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for the updated version of this build. I converted a buddy to a PVP player with the OG version, and we've been hoping for an update. So good.
Hi Zero! Ok you got me. I thought about it. I googled it. I asked two friends. I don't know what that means haha. I am even an Army Veteran who was CLS (cliff notes training version of field medic for non-medics basically) certified, more than once, and I still am not sure lol. I am going to assume it was a compliment based on the rest of the context and say thank you very much! Seriously though, I am glad you liked the content. 💪
This was insane... was playing with a friend(she was using first build) and I used the 2nd build first deathmatch she had 1.7 mil and I had 1.4 mil in heals...
I love the changes to the build video! Especially the transitions and The Gameroom! Also, great content and a lot of good information. I appreciate your explanations for why certain things work well together. Thanks for another great guide.
Hi Pirate! Awesome! Thank you so much for coming back and letting me know. Congrats on your title and you are very welcome. (YOU did all the work though! 💪)
Awesome build! I’m using everything exactly the way you have it except for the monster set I’m using the blind to give everyone shields when I crit heal.
I just unlocked the Oakensoul Ring and this is the first build I am making with it. I will be adapting it for PvE, but I was a fan of the original build so I have high hopes for this one. Keep up the good work man.
I just wanna say running a heavy Kagrenac’s hope set instead of redistribution and grabbing the res speed champion skill is fantastic. In difficult vet content with 1 shot mechanics I can pick up downed players much quicker, often beating out the ads trying to throw me off the res. This has saved our groups in some of the hardest content in the game. I also have my jewelry specked for raw damage boosts and in dungeons have 6k spell damage and 50.3k hp with 2800 mag recov and the ability to bring groups back from the dead.
This build is absolutely dominating the BG's for the Mayhem event. Typical stats are 0-2 deaths, a few kills or assists. Initially, I figured "Welp, gonna be the low man on the leaderboard, but you know... there's no 'I' in team, right?" However, I'm usually ranked #1 or #2 on the team with 4-5k points. For you hardcores, that's probably a walk in the park, but for a cloak-and-run NB like myself, it's a fun new experience to follow the hard-hitters and keep them hitting. Can't say enough good things about this iteration of the Raid Boss; I like it even more than the last one--and I loved the last one ;D
What a great comment! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with the build Tim, and I am really happy it's going so well for you. Made my day!💪
You can actually squeeze out even more health if instead of 2 pc endurance you do a 1pc Trainee and 1pc Druid Braid. With this set up you get an additional 732 health before calculating % buffs.
Wow I suck at battlegrounds. just tried this build except for golding the small body pieces. 2 games in and first was a landslide victory of chaos ball. Once I got ahold of the ball I nearly kept it till we won, only died once when every other player was attacking me and even then held out a good while. Second game we won domination with 553K healing on my part, 1 death again. Love it!
Hi Koalatealeaf! (clever name haha) I am glad you are enjoying the build and thank you so much for coming back and letting me know. Awesome work in your battlegrounds! 💪
Love the new format. For me the why to use this is very helpful. I also loved the build and can't wait to try it. :) Thank you Dooma for another awesome build!
This build is so much fun. I'm planting so many trees and flowers, we can start a forest in the Battlegrounds. I'm really just dropping a comment to help your channel. The quality of these videos is amazing.
_Twenty _*_thousand_*_ healing_ on Polar Wind's initial burst!? (Granted I know that's cut back in PvP but that is still _absolutely ludicrous_ to see!) I really, _really_ appreciate this new presentation style. You give off calm and concise vibes, while also providing custom UI elements that hold the interest of someone with ADHD (me, lol) that provide visual flair and helpful information. This is _fantastic!_ All I really need is to get a hold of the Maelstrom Resto, which is a great excuse to set foot in there for the first time. I really love seeing Oakensoul builds that ditch the meta 5/5/1 setup in favor of a Monster+Arena+5-piece rig! Thank you once again for yet another build that thinks outside of the box!
Thank you so much for the kind comment Riley, I appreciate it and you are also very welcome! I am glad you like the new style. This style is a bit too time consuming to to regularly but I intend to use it for special showcases like this Raid Boss build update. Thanks again for taking your time to give such great feedback! 💪
So, Ive been hating pvp, avoided it. As I - a noob, and have not taken the time to learn pvp, so build this a week ago, practiced a bit. Today I healed for 1Million in a BG and my team won big, in the end I died once as everybody targeted me. This build is insane Thanks!!! Now even I can get pvp rewards. 😊
@@Dooma Leading up to this I queued up for a normal dungeon and ended up in one of the harder DLC ones. The tank left as soon as we came in an we were three players two dd and me. Im cp900ish and the two dd was 2k2+, I asked if we should leave, but we went for it and at the end one of them said "ty guys ty HEAL" so yeah this build can cook. I know it's normal but still...
Instead of using the Endurance set you can use 1 piece Druids braid and 1 piece trainee for 2660 max health vs endurance which gives 1928. Not crazy difference but every little bit helps 👌
didnt wanna mess with my 2 wardens that already had 3 builds each so used up my spare slot and made a new one lol been leveling this in Redistributor with Julianos as the other set and its working brilliantly in both overland and bgs and i am not a bg fan :), even as a 2bar build this is very hard to kill and i only die when a group of 3 or 4 overwhelm me with stuns and drain my stam, will be taking this into cyro tonite as we have a guild event and im currently lvl 34 on day 4 of playing (i hate grinding im og) and looking forward to keeping the group happily healed while they try and kill everything :), many thx for this build im really enjoying this different playstyle
Hi John! You are very welcome and thank you for taking the time to leave such a great comment. I am really glad it is working for you so well and I hope your Cyro event went well!
@@Dooma for the most part it worked fine until we ran into a blue zerg lol, with 1 tank, 2 healers, 1 dps on pve build and 1 on pvp build well lets just say it wasnt pretty and leave their dignity intact, took it into a random bg again today and got that circular arena area with deathmatch and went 10K 0D 22A with almost 400k healing at lvl 39 so i was very happy, so just thought id add a few more thank yous onto the previous ones o7
Time for a confession: I’ve only completed nMA four times. I don’t have that resto staff. 🥺 I’m going to have to farm it until I grow old and die. At least this build will be the perfect incentive to finally get that done. And I might as well complete the nDA gear sets too. I’ve completed the Vateshran sets except for the perfected gear.
Haha its okay. A normal one will work just fine. You can just use an endurance staff or something like a potentates staff for now until you get it farmed. Just any resto staff that will provide some sort of set benefit.
Um...not really the best in PvE health is nice but not when you are out of stamina which is used for blocking....since that’s what a pve tank does 70% of the time...the rest is rotation and group help
Love the video, great production and a ton of helpful advice and info. Q: Is one bar builds better or just easier? After looking at the website I notice most builds are one bar and it seems a hindrance to miss out on another bar of skills.
Hi Sythikx! Thank you for the comment and the kind words! That one is very difficult to answer and very messy. It really depends and also depends on who you ask. Is a 2 bar build better than a 1 bar build on paper by the math? In most cases, yes. But that does not mean someone will do better with the 2 bar version. In my years of doing this, the vast majority of people I have helped 1 on 1, ended up improving exponentially by down shifting their kit a bit. That said, we have experienced a continual power creep in eso through the years without the content being fully reflected by it. So we are performing MILES above the content in many cases in the game. So many times a 2 bar build for something is like taking a lambo to the corner to get groceries (massive overkill). I play both 1 and 2 bars in all content types. All of that said, a proficient player will be able to do more with 2 bars than with 1 99% of the time. HOW MUCH more, is the big variable. Sometimes its so little, its not worth it, sometimes its quite a lot and very impactful to have the second bar. Just depends on the build, content, and individual ability. There are very rare outliers like this specific build where the 2 bar version's need to spend globals refreshing buffs, doesnt bring more to the table in the way of HPS vs, using the buffs from oakensoul and focusing on sustaining the 1 button spam of Polar Wind. I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
@@theshenanigans3463 I am really glad the build is letting you enjoy pvp. Thank you for taking the time to come back and let me know. 💪 Remember, YOU are doing all the work with it in game. Well done!
Hi Robert! You are very welcome and thank you for watching! I wouldn't run vampire here. You won't get any real value until stage 3 and then the sustain hit reducing your Polar Wind spam makes it not worth the trade off.
Yep, I cured Vamp for this setup and it worked a lot better. Also watched the video a few times more to get the nuisances. Definitely the best healer I've ever had for PVP.
Just tried this build out (relic weekend!) It's missing the resto staff (I needed a break from farming) but my first match we won, due to my non stop heals and just the ability to not die defending our relic / healing the relic runners. Can't wait to gold it and get the resto staff to complete the build. Really fun way to play. o7
Oh no you didn't miss it Seekup, I forgot it in my explanation. I put it in the pinned comment. All 3 are Spell Damage. The written guide should be out today or tomorrow if that helps as well.
Lol you said pvp i ran this in vet dungeon and cannot die and the team health stays at 90% plus love your video bro. And its legit my first ever healer i have 4 dps lol
Nice build, I just completed it yesterday except for the maelstrom staff. I was wondering what small tweak that could be done to have minimal effect on healing but allow for multi-target damage... I'm finding it a bit painful to take out guards at a keep or resources unless others are there to help. Maybe swap out orb for some other skill? Orb is only good if players are stationary and not running full speed through a dungeon slashing and burning. Maybe the beetles, or those ice spikes that stick out of the ground (winter something)
Hi Itim! Both of those options will work for what you need. You can also add any spammable you like as well such as Cliff Racer. Beetles is always appreciated because it gives both breaches on targets for your damage dealers. Any ability you remove though, hurts. All of them provide something valuable for the heal kit. Orbs are usually very valued by DDs because the resources it also gives on top of the heals. If you find yourself mostly in very mobile fights however and orbs isn't being used, then I would agree it would make sense as the ability to drop. If you are playing on PC, I would suggest an addon like alpha gear or dressing room. Create 2 builds, only different in the dps ability you want to add, then key bind them (I use my number pad). Swap to the damage build when you need to solo take out guards, and then swap back when done. Assuming you don't get stuck in combat. 😅 Remember, ALL this build brings to the table, is massive healing. It's not a damage build at all. So, if you shave off some of it's strength in favor of killing guards easier, you will end up a bit weaker in sweaty fights. Even if orb isn't being used constantly, it's still a solid heal to use when you can, and its also good for you to place on corners you are line of sight'ing around and what not for additional heals for your self as it floats around you. Just something to consider.
Hi Tia! Awesome, I hope you enjoy it! This works best for small scale combat. It won't make the best zerg healer, but works really well for small group stuff. Anything up to 5'ish people or so and you are solid to do anything in Cyro. Thank you for watching!
Brother, keep updating and making builds these one bar builds. IMO your builds are so fun to play with and dominate. So much better then swapping esp on console for causal gamers. Thank you !!
Hi Tino! It does! It's not going to be the best Zerg healer (since it specializes in burst heals for 1-2 people) but it makes a fantastic small scale healer (2-6'ish) people.
The "make BGs unfun" build.. Lol great video. Love the format. Just one suggestion. I like how the video is split into "parts" how much of a pain is it to include time stamps in the description? That way, I can come back later when I want to use the build and skip to the gear part, or skill setup part easily.
Haha Thank you Plague! I am trying to get chapters added but I am having issues with it. If I don't get it sorted by this evening I will just add timestamps for everyone in the pinned comment. The written guide should be up soon as well so that should help as well. Thank you for the reminder on this!
Yes, time stamps are super helpful. It's like little video notes. We all know how much I love good notes 📝. I wish I could use the zoyenotes emote on RUclips. *Sad Zoye noises *

Hi KC! Love this thinking. Thank you for asking here. That one is kind of hard to eyeball just looking at the set and very difficult to try and compare it 1:1 to another sustain set in its place mentally. You'd have to math out Black Rose a bit with the in game tool tip of constitution adding 60% value then multiplying by 15 (Constitution can proc 15 times a minute in a best case scenario). That will give you a total resource returned per minute for the set. Then use that same general logic to see what value another set would add, then compare. Then there is other variables like Black Rose being situational, you aren't always going to get 100% value from it as you may not proc it like clock work every 4 seconds for an entire minute vs another set that has a static resource recovery amount or another set that reduces the cost of skills, etc. It may be a very good set. Or it may be a very bad set. I honestly wouldn't know with out doing a little homework and comparison.
Hi Khyrsanth! Thank you very much! Unfortunately they don't. Here is a list of sets that do work in the no-proc campaigns: eso-hub.com/en/guides/sets-that-work-in-no-champion-points-camp
Would you recommend an alternative set for redistributor in cyrodiil? I often just run around solo healing randoms, so that set only buffs group members.
Use the set he recommended for the alternate build, Plague Doctor. Stack health. Or you can pick a heavy tanking set with an interesting 5th trait that you like. There are a lot to choose from. Or pick any set that can be found or created in heavy weight that: - increases health as a priority - increases stamina as a secondary priority - increases Magicka as a tertiary priority - has a 5th trait that somehow benefits others, not just yourself, or - has a selfish 5th trait that somehow eases your life so that you can better do your job. Staying alive is pretty much covered by your ridiculous health stats The list of workable sets is huge. Some that come to mind are: Akaviri Dragonguard - reduce ultimate costs Crimson Twilight - Damage attackers Dauntless Combatant - Break free for free Dragon Defilement - Weaken attackers Druid Braid (5 pcs) - Stack stats Beekeeper - Stack health Champion of the Hist - Heroism Ember shield - Resistances up Fortified Brass - Stack armour Grace of Gloom - Major evasion, heals Green Pact - Stack health Hatchlings Shell - Health, armour, shields Leeching Plate - Damage attackers I didn’t check over all of the sets for weights, so take the list with a grain of salt. The point is to show you that you have a lot of workable choices. Not as sexy as the ones Dooma selected, but others can get the job done for you.
Wow what a great comment here. Thank you. What Tate said here is perfect. Use a set that pads resources a bit then has a 5 set that benefits those that you are healing (this isn’t always ideal but for this build and it being one bar it’s helpful). You won't need any additional tankiness so any of the personal resistance sets would be a bit overkill. There is quite a few options out there!
@@Dooma hmm might try out twice born star then, since it gives the same 3 lines of stat bonus as redistributor, but I can use both atronach and ritual mundus together for more beefy heals.
Hi Helena! You are very welcome and thank you for watching! That is not a dumb question at all! Chokethorn doesnt proc in those campaigns. Here is a list of approved gearsets: eso-hub.com/en/guides/sets-that-work-in-no-champion-points-campaign
Hi Erin! It's fairly situational depending on who you are with. It can cause problems but I haven't really ran into it. I know a few others were concerned as well. If you would rather not have to ever worry about it, you can always pick up a general healing CP node like Rejuvenator which will boost all of your heals.
Hi JW! The main pieces there are the Hlaalu Robe, Medium Sapiarch Helm, some sort of light armor that only covers shoulders, and the Prophet staff. Thank you for watching!
Hi Miu! Possibly in the future. I have several builds developed already I need to get out before considering new content. Thank you for the suggestion!
What have you experienced with cleansing Plague? I am in a couple pvp guilds that really discourage any skills that purge and cleanse. They go balistic when they see a Netch. I would assume you have had really good success. Your thoughts would be helpful to clarify this subject. Love the build! ;)
Hi Crusader! I think this is one of those “individual experiences may vary” situations. Between here and dms in discord there has been a handful of feedback saying exactly what you are saying. My opinion isn’t that you are wrong. I personally have not had issues with it, consistently. However that doesn’t mean that it’s not happening to others or even to myself at a random time. In general what you are saying is totally normal. In hindsight, I would have changed that suggested slottable to “Rejuvenator” for this video. That’s probably more consistently valuable to more people. (I would still use cleansing myself). I also play bgs or very small scale outnumbered when I do play cp pvp. The risks in those situations are different. Ultimately I would say it’s a failure on my part to consider a wider scope of players for this aspect. Thank you watching and coming back to ask!
I'm wondering if this set is good with a max health build, as the 5 pces power scales on magicka or stamina. I use the Prayer, wich gives extra shield to everyone when I overheal. For the extra-heal, I also prefer the flexibility of Chokethorn (very underrated).
Hi GWA! What set are you referring to specifically? Also, Chokethorn is a great choice! It's the suggested monster set for the first version of this build.
Hi. I was refering to the Redistributor set, wich doesn't scale on health (but maybe no set does that, IDK). Also, I'm wondering why enchant the staff with damage glyph instead of debuffing ennemies resistance for example. And yes, some ppl made fun about my HL build that was based on your 1st vid. They frowned upon Oakensoul and Chokethorn, but don't realise the effectiveness (has they probably don't even HAVE any HL toon lol).
Hi Joe! You could use something like a Potentates Resto staff. If you find sustain a but tight, then drop Radiating Regeneration and Replace it with Sanguine Alter.
Hi AntiSCO! It doesn't translate that well on the Templar unfortunately. There just isn't a comparable reason to boost HP on the Templar as a healer that gives an elevated healing output like on the Warden. You just end up with tons of hp and much less healing for yourself and your team. I did make this Templar PVP healer recently that works well you may like: ruclips.net/video/k0zCUxLPjc0/видео.html It's not as strong as this Warden build, but its simple and fun to play.
@@Dooma Yep. Pretty much the setup I am already using on her. Was just trying to think of any way of slightly boosting survivability without compromising healing too much. Getting mauled by mobs of sweaty DKs pretty much kills the balance most nights, to where I spend more time staying alive than healing. Guess it's just the future of Cyro at this rate, unfortunately.
@@AntiSCO I think you are right. It's just different now. The meta is so lopsided right and just the nature of the game with all the proc sets and how much easier it is to do more damage, more healing, and have more survivability for the average player, it's really kind of changed the landscape of overworld PVP the past few years, not in a good way (for most people anyway). I personally don't enjoy it nearly as much as I used to and spend most of my PVP time in BGs now. There aren't any changes that are going to change this for Necrom release, so we are locked in to this ride for at least a handful more months now. Hopefully on the next patch! 🙏
Hi there! Still working the same. It keeps slipping through the cracks for patches haha. Only thing I would recommend is to add this ability in the place of Budding Seeds: ruclips.net/video/hT4xOfl_jxE/видео.html
Jason in BGs?! We did it yall! Seriously though, if you are even a little serious, that makes me happy the build potentially makes you interested in trying something new in ESO. If you do try it out, you got this! 💪
Hi Luke! Thank you! The glyphs are spell damage. Here is a written guide for you to help: www.thegameroom.tv/warden-builds (click "ONE BAR HEALER" under "PVP") Thank you for watching!
Hi Ecool! Not like this build, but I do have two current PvP Templar healer guides: ruclips.net/video/WDaq9PIsBAU/видео.html ruclips.net/video/k0zCUxLPjc0/видео.html
Love the build. I’m finding that not having impenetrable has made me very killable even with all the hp and heals. Is any one else struggling with that? Or perhaps im doing something wrong.
Hi Dcoy! Thank you for watching and your patience! I just got back from an unexpected vacation of sorts. If everything is rolling and you are spamming polar wind, it should be very hard to take you down, especially consistently. Without seeing any gameplay, I would say potentially narrow your scope when focused to just keeping yourself alive until you are totally comfortable, then worry about those around you. This will change in time as you get comfortable and youll find yourself naturally doing both at the same time. At least in BGs, people usually dont just beat on you all day if they see you have 50-60k hp and just arent dying. Players will "usually" will pivot to another target. For starters and keeping it simple, I would suggest "move less, polar wind more" and see how that works for you. I hope this helps!
Thanks for your reply bro, and for the advice! I will definitely be implementing your advice. I have found the build to be fun to play though. I have also had a few positive comments from others, so it definitely works. Thanks!
Hi Gig! You absolutely can heal many aspects of PVE with this. People have given feedback here in the comments I believe where it worked great for them. When you start to tackle some of the more difficult content however, this build will lose value in PVE as its mostly an HPS machine and much of it will be wasted vs. providing more utility to the group in both sets and skills. We do have another 1 bar pve healer on the website however. It's a bit off meta in it's play style but there is a video explanation for it under the build: www.thegameroom.tv/warden-builds Thank you for watching!
I'm very new to ESO started yesterday. And wanted to make a healer build and now I'm assuming this build doesn't transition well into PvE as it is specifically a PvP build but could someone please let me know why this wouldn't work in PvE?
Hi Kieran! This is a great question. One that is rough to give a short answer and have it make full sense, this topic can get quite in depth haha. ESO has a really in depth build system that allows you to customize your character in many intricate ways. Also, healers in ESO (can) do much more than just healing. They can provide resources, extra damage, extra damage modifiers, debuff enemies, assist in damage, etc. This can be done through abilities, gear, champion points, enchants, etc. In high end PVE you have healer builds more centered around being a battery/steroid for your group (and those builds can change from content to content depending on what is needed for the group), while also providing damage yourself. It significantly elevates the group/raid, if that is something you want to do. You can also simply casually heal in ESO and clear tons of content just fine without worrying about trying to be fully optimized. There is a very wide spectrum of dungeon and raid difficulty to heal that requires different levels of optimization. That said, in PVP, each DPS is their own DPS, tank, and healer. PVP builds don’t take into account for the need to get a certain buff or resource steroid from somewhere else. They are all inclusive, they have everything they need. That said, giving them more sustain or damage is never a bad thing, but as a healer In PVP, you are more focused on huge healing and keeping your team topped off and mobile. If you can do that as a baseline performance, you’ve nailed it. Anything else is icing on the cake (for general solo pvp healing). There are Sorcerer PVP healer builds that pump out tons of burst damage while healing. There are builds like earlier Raid Boss Warden PVP healer builds on this channel that did as much damage over time as healing over time. There are battery builds that boost the team. Lots of options and playstyles. Anything on top of big heals you can bring to PVP is usually very appreciated. Or, builds like this that pump out such an over the top and extreme amount of healing, you don’t even need to provide anything else, you already make your team immortal. All that said, just like there are specialized groups and raids in PVE, they are in PVP as well and healer builds for those groups are often times as intricate as the high end PVE builds, just providing different things in different ways. As you can see, ESO is very much so a “play how you want” game. I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
I run this in Ravenwood with Plague and Twiceborn. I think it's great, but other healers are telling me 15k magicka is not enough and to slot purge. I tell them to try the build before critiquing it! I stand oils, heal through it, and since no one else is dyeing near me, I assume I'm healing them through it as well. Thoughts, in no-cp, should I have a purge on since I'm not getting the benefit from Cleansing Revival?
Hi Major! I am glad you are liking the build! I have since slightly updated the build and dropped the Cleansing Revival CP slottable for Rejuvenator, just to make it a bit more well rounded for more players. Purging can be a problem in group pvp content and that aside, what they are telling you has some truth to it. While it would still be manageable if you were hyper focused on mag management, I dont think it would be worth it. The build specializing in one thing. It has one special aspect that elevates it and makes it so strong: Absurdly high Polar Wind spam HPS. Any changes to the build deviating from that, weakens it. You can (and should) make changes to any build that fits your playstyle/interest more, but when trying to match the intended performance from a build, it can be a good idea at times to try and lean into the given set up without personal changes. It's min/maxed to the highest degree around this design. Its not a utility build, its not a hybrid damage/healer build. It does one thing, and it does it better than any other similar 1 bar build: blast constant overpowered heals, mainly with 1 button. Unless you just have a million dots on you from a zerg, its almost certainly going to be better to just heal through it, rather than try to purge them off while also balancing polar wind spam after cleanse wipes out half your mag. That said, keep in mind Blue Betty also functions as a self purge. It auto purges things over time, but more importantly, it instant purges 1 thing the global its used. So its a mana free self purge that also gives you a small heal. It's good to get into habit of semi spamming that in globals when not using a heal and especially when moving from point a to b. I hope this helps and if you have any follow up questions, please let me know!
Haha it was all from a typo on the website. It said 6425 and its supposed to be 625. I cant type or read apparently. 😂 That said, High Elf works great for the build. It's what I am using now. The passive returning stam is very helpful since stam is so low on the build and you end up with a bit higher overall healing with the higher Spell Damage.
Going to work on this set now and give it a try, I’m primarily a pvp player in Cyrodiil, how do you think it would fair in Cyrodiil with a group say around 6-12 ?
Hi John! I know of some people who use this set up in Cyro and have a good time. I personally prefer to keep the group sizes a bit smaller using this set up as a healer (4-6) but it still works very well for your size. Just make sure you arent playing it as a backline healer as your main healing tool, Polar Wind, has a short range. I hope you enjoy it and thank you for watching! 🙏
Hi Sensei! Dropping Oakensoul really changes things up. You have to make up several of the buffs it gives which takes bar space. I would have to play around with it in game to make sure everything is there. It's a bit hard to visualize it all (it's been a long day haha). If you remind me one day on stream, I don't mind taking a look for you.
@@Dooma That would have been awesome. Unfortunately I can’t talk my buddies into making the move to pc so I’m stuck on PlayStation for now. I don’t have much luck with the community on PlayStation. I’ve tried finding someone I could give the mats and some gold to for crafting it for me but no luck so far. Getting crafting skill up is quite the grind with the research timers.
Great vid and great build. A guildmate just shared this with us. Now I have to roll up a Warden. Would you consider Sentinel of Rkugamz instead of Chokethorn. It provides Magicka and Stamina in addition to the heal.
Hi Dave! Thank you for watching and your patience! I just got back from an unexpected vacation of sorts. I am glad you like the build! Sentinel is fantastic for PVE but not the greatest for PVP. This is due to Sentinels proc being stationary and requiring players to be near the proc vs Chokethorn providing a very long tether to a player that doesn't break or stop healing unless they move very far away or the Chokethorn proc gets interrupted. "On paper" Sentinel would be superior in something like flag matches in BGs where everyone is balled up all the time, but in my experience people still move out and away from stationary procs constantly, causing it to lose much of its value. You can get highlight reels with some of the stationary proc monster sets where everything went perfect for you for a game and everyone stayed stacked on the procs, but that experience in ESO solo queuing games is certainly the exception and not the rule. Chokethorn will provide much more consistent value for you. Great question!
@@Dooma Thanks for the response. Once I got my Warden leveled up and did some playtesting I did recognize how small of a ball you need to group up in, in order to benefit from Sentinel. I've since ditched the skittering little spider.
Hi Silver! Great thinking! I would say it would depend on your intent/needs. In BGs its mostly stop-and-go and static fights so movement is almost never an issue. If anything, you get to be the front line pushing your team forward with this build much of the time. Same idea for overworld. If you were in a group specifically working and moving together in synergy (referred to as "ball groups") then possibly a bit more movement would be good, IF you weren't keeping up with the group and it was needed. But outside that very specific circumstance, I would say more health for more healing would be better over all. Otherwise you are moving around a bit quicker when it's not needed and then putting out much less healing. If you want a bit more movement speed without sacrificing healing power, you can also drop a red CP slottable and pick up Celerity. I personally chose not to do it because I found the "post up and heal through it" play style to compliment the build more (for me). Thank you for the comment!
This is an unbelievably fantastic set! However, I can see your burst heal of Polar wind reaches up to 24K, I can't make it reach 13K no matter what. I am Warden Breton. Also, is there a way I can see your Advanced Stats Sheet for healing bonuses? no matter where I check no one seems to post their Healing bonuses stats. I shall be truly thankful to you for your reply
Hi GM! The main theme of the video is more hp = bigger polar winds. Healthy jewelry traits contribute to this. Infused is fine, but its going to apply to your spell damage glyphs which are going to affect your other heals primarily, which are just supplemental heals. Polar Wind is the heavy centerpiece to everything we try to buff with the various aspects of the build. I hope this helps, thank you for watching, belated happy 4th to you as well!
NOTE 3: This is in response to a great comment below regarding using 1 pc Druid and 1 pc Trainee instead of Endurance:
Hi Rob!
Do you think you could do a gold road update to the build I really wanted a beefy healer for gold road
My Dad made this for me 3 weeks ago, and I've been #1 in almost every BG and a huge part of the success in Cyro for EP. I'll send videos if I can. This is my favorite character because he even heals trials and the new HM Dungeons. Thx again Dooma!!!
That's AWESOME ACR! GREAT JOB!
@@AIex777 I have not added anything to it. But I have been using the plague doctor setup for the health bonus.
I have never been to this channel before. The production quality on this video is insane. As is the build. I think my only personal change would be dropping Chokethorn for Ozezan.

Okay okay okay... I just tried this out and it's GNARLY! I'm a force to be reckoned with

You strike me as a person who was a medic in the military. Great vid. Great site.
That's what I am talking about Matt! 💪 Thank you so much for coming back and letting me know, love to hear it!
Yup, I’m doing it. Gonna set this up this weekend, actually gonna dip toes into pvp.

Best production I've seen so far on a build video. Great work
Thank you so much Jeremy!

Great video, can't wait to try it out. Thinking of Cyrodiil with emp health buff and the increased health from the well, would close in on 70K, lol
That sounds wild! That would be for anyone facing your group haha.
Running the alt build at the end of the video. Has been great in BGs. The second day I ran this, I got the chaos guardian title. Thanks!

Awesome Clayton! 💪 Thank you for coming back and letting me know and I am glad it's working so well for you!
I just unlocked the Oakensoul Ring and this is the first build I am making with it. I will be adapting it for PvE, but I was a fan of the original build so I have high hopes for this one. Keep up the good work man.
Awesome! I hope you enjoy it and I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Also I’m critting polar wind at 36k
Purple armor too
Very nice!
Hi Robert! Check out "NOTE 3" under the pinned comment. Thank you for watching!

_Twenty _*_thousand_*_ healing_ on Polar Wind's initial burst!? (Granted I know that's cut back in PvP but that is still _absolutely ludicrous_ to see!)

I feel in a smaller scale, PVE oriented environment. One could make use of Leeching Plate or Crimson to apply damage while healing

Time for a confession:
I’ve only completed nMA four times.
I don’t have that resto staff.
🥺
I’m going to have to farm it until I grow old and die.
@@Dooma I’ll make a golded out infused Endurance staff with absorb stamina glyph.
Same here--I'm thinking about just using the 2nd set up he mentions towards the end of the video ;D
I was using this build while doing my undaunted pledges, the tank suggested I switch to tank or dps because I had 50k hp. 10/10 would recommend 😂
Haha awesome!

Haha, I love to hear it, thank you for coming back and letting me know! 💪
Like the look of this cant wait to try this out with my BG group but how will it hold up in Cyrodil wide open spaces?
Hi Tia! Awesome, I hope you enjoy it! This works best for small scale combat. It won't make the best zerg healer, but works really well for small group stuff. Anything up to 5'ish people or so and you are solid to do anything in Cyro. Thank you for watching!

Thanks for the tip, Rob. I made a gold set of the jewels you recommended. The stats look great!
Thoughts on Black Rose set instead of Redist? Lil more health/stam...lil less heavy attack regen needed
Nice video and explanation! Would these sets work in Cyrodill non CP? I thought, that all sets like "when you Do X, Y happens" don't work there...
Or pick any set that can be found or created in heavy weight that:
- increases health as a priority
- increases stamina as a secondary priority
- increases Magicka as a tertiary priority
- has a 5th trait that somehow benefits others, not just yourself, or
- has a selfish 5th trait that somehow eases your life so that you can better do your job. Staying alive is pretty much covered by your ridiculous health stats
The list of workable sets is huge. Some that come to mind are:
Akaviri Dragonguard - reduce ultimate costs
Crimson Twilight - Damage attackers
Dauntless Combatant - Break free for free
Dragon Defilement - Weaken attackers
Druid Braid (5 pcs) - Stack stats
Beekeeper - Stack health
Champion of the Hist - Heroism
Ember shield - Resistances up
Fortified Brass - Stack armour
Grace of Gloom - Major evasion, heals
Green Pact - Stack health
Hatchlings Shell - Health, armour, shields
Leeching Plate - Damage attackers
I didn’t check over all of the sets for weights, so take the list with a grain of salt.

Thank you so much for such a great video and build. I have a question, maybe I'm dumb, does Chokethorn procs in no-CP PvP ?
Hi Helena! You are very welcome and thank you for watching! That is not a dumb question at all! Chokethorn doesnt proc in those campaigns. Here is a list of approved gearsets: eso-hub.com/en/guides/sets-that-work-in-no-champion-points-campaign
have a question, what about all the purging does this build bring issues with plaguebreak and bombers with all the purging?
Hi Erin! It's fairly situational depending on who you are with. It can cause problems but I haven't really ran into it. I know a few others were concerned as well. If you would rather not have to ever worry about it, you can always pick up a general healing CP node like Rejuvenator which will boost all of your heals.
One suggestion is drop Endurance and use one pc Trainee, one pc Druid.
Hi Hillbilly! Thanks! Check out the pinned comment. 💪
So what is the armor style at 0:17 it looks so cool
Hi JW! The main pieces there are the Hlaalu Robe, Medium Sapiarch Helm, some sort of light armor that only covers shoulders, and the Prophet staff. Thank you for watching!
@@Doomayour style for that outfit is awesome dude
@@jjw1416 Thank you! 🙏
can you make one with base game gear?
Hi, thanks for this set up.
If I don't have it MAELSTROM STAFF , what could I use?
Hi Joe! You could use something like a Potentates Resto staff. If you find sustain a but tight, then drop Radiating Regeneration and Replace it with Sanguine Alter.
Is this something that could be retooled a bit to fit on a one-bar Templar heals? I'm fixing to try anyways, but I'd value the input!
Any updates

@@Ecool27 Haha Thank you and I am glad you are enjoying it!
Thanks!
@@ldcoyl3303 Awesome and no worries at all, happy to help!
@Dooma do you have a PvE warden heal build or would this work too?
It's a bit off meta in it's play style but there is a video explanation for it under the build: www.thegameroom.tv/warden-builds
Thank you for watching!
What chest piece are you using for this outfit?
Hi Bee! The chest piece is the Stormlords motif, but its mostly covered by a custom tabard.
I had to double take and go check racial passives when you said High Elf restores 6000 magicka or stamina every 6 seconds lol. If only.
@@Dooma haha I was about to buy 10 race change tokens 😂
Going to work on this set now and give it a try, I’m primarily a pvp player in Cyrodiil, how do you think it would fair in Cyrodiil with a group say around 6-12 ?
Hi John! I know of some people who use this set up in Cyro and have a good time. I personally prefer to keep the group sizes a bit smaller using this set up as a healer (4-6) but it still works very well for your size.

Hi Tee! Check out "NOTE 3" under the pinned comment. Thank you for watching!

Hi Javon! It's all there for you in the written guide linked in the video description. Thank you for watching!
Im not a healer but it seems to me that 1 weakness of this awesome build is speed. Wouldnt speed trait on your jewelery benefit more than health?

I have a question!??? Why healthy on the jewelry and not infused😶 I'm gonna go with healthy was just wondering 💁♂️🤷♂️ And happy 4th!!!!
