How would you rev the engine? Strange thing is I have a 8hp 2 stroke that has a forward reverse lever instead of tiller shift like most people have.
You can adjust the idle by turning the primer knob. When you pull the primer knob, it engages the choke circuit and puts the engine in a high idle.
