I really really like your videos! My whole life I believed and I always stay open minded and minimum my search to witchcraft(so it don't stand out with people around me) But I just started to dive more into it! But hard to know where to start. I already bought some books for the history, so will see.(altho reading takes time with me haha) I will watch more of your videos! Thanks! I'm a Huffelpuf btw. :)
Also a slytherin here and to clarify a bit on the subject of familiars. Bottom line a familiar is not a pet and a pet is not a familiar. Familiars are A) created or B) enslaved spirits used to redirect and take magickal hits to protect a witch from spells and unwanted energy. What i think most new age and even some seasoned witches see or have are animal helpers. These are animals that encourage and help focus energy during magickal work. And are not used as decoys for an attack nor would i want a pet or animal to be used for such. I recently had a discussion on the topic with a long time witch and found a great source for true familiar information is dark age grimoires. Most books from modern times seem to have a lax or differently interpreted idea of what a familiar is or should be.
So I have been practicing chaos magic for awhile now, I don't like to think of it as witchcraft because it focuses on things like thought forms, gnosis, sigils, and some actual... Witchcraft like practices depending on what you want to do. My point is though that in chaos Magick it's sort of "go your own way", do it how you'd like to, incorporating different types and schools of craft in order to get what you want done. Point being with thought forms a lot of people that do it will incorporate things like writing a poem or story to perform a task, or even using make believe stories like Harry Potter, or even like star wars in order to perform what they want. It would seem weird but the idea being your mind and thoughts are a powerful tool so if you believe (within reasoning of what is a possibility) that something can be done as spell craft in that way, you can incorporate that into a ritual, or spell. For example, in my gnosis states a lot of times I focus on doing the meditations in a way that I think of how a Jedi or sith in star wars would use "the force", but of course I'm not going to be doing anything a Jedi in star wars can do anytime soon, I just use it for things like healing gnosis/meditations, or focusing on a result that I want.
I am fully creeped out I am currently quarantined in a haunted house and I keep hearing random noises and I am scared but I probably shouldn't be because my grandma told me that the spirits aren't dangerous so maybe I am overthinking I don't know but I don't want to tell them to leave because they've saved my grandparents on more than one occasion so I don't know.
I'm slytherin and a witch and I wanna add some actual wicca stuff to my headcannon to make my OC make more sense or in general I am kind of conflicted of how there aren't things regarding demons with demonology also being a part of it idfk My dad taught me stuff ever since I was a child
Hey there! Ravenclaw here. Just wanted to say I enjoyed your video and I appreciated learning more about your beliefs! It was really cute and entertaining and btw your video editing skills are awesome. I'm a Christian and while we have different beliefs, I wish more of us would be willing to reach out and be friends!!
Ok so I love Harry Potter and this might be an unpopular opinion but I understand that it might just be a fictional story but at the same time I believe that it isn't. I always liked to imagine that J.K. Rowling is actually Mrs. Figg (the squib in privet drive) and that she is telling us about this secret world making it seem like a fictional story. I also do believe in modern witchcraft though. I simply like to believe in both. I just think that there is more to our reality than we know of and that the Harry Potter Witches and Wizards keep themselves secret from the rest of us. Whereas the modern witchcraft everyone who chooses to do so can do it because we all have some kind of magick inside of us. It's just a bit different from the Harry Potter magick. Now, I understand that most people think that this is a stupid and naive belief. But I guess I just create the reality that I like the best. And obviously this is just a theory and I don't say it has to be this way, I just think it would be cool and possible to be this way :)
I probably would be a hufflepuff too.... I have a few different questions. However these questions will not make sense without the following disclaimer: I am a devote Christian (protestant) who is attempting to understand and categorize various religious beliefs to be based on power source. Similar to how Dungeons and Dragons (the tabletop RPG) differentiates specific spell casters. That way I can explain what I am as a contrast to other beliefs. For example, Roman Catholicism and Buddhism are religions of scales and balances of merit or yang that constitutes certain level of power in the respective religions. For many in Protestant Christianity, power is obtained through a one-sided and binding blood pact (Ironically, an extremely Lovecraftian thought). - - Firstly, is witchcraft an interchangeable term with Wiccan? As far as you are concerned what is Wiccan the belief of? What exactly is the difference between Witchcraft and Sorcery? I was originally told that witchcraft was imbuing objects with power or energy while sorcery was summoning spirits (going back to power origins). What does the average witch believe created the universe? What are kinds of spells that you cast every day? Are there any spells that you are afraid to cast? Christianity does not "play well" with other religions in general, but witchcraft is (traditionally) considered in its own category (of enemy), because the teachings of Christianity claim that witchcraft (a different religion) has actual power of some form. There are reasons that interface Christian cosmology with Witchcraft that Christians give, but I am curious: Do witches believe that Christians has some form of supernatural power? If so, what is a common explanation?
I know that Harry Potter spela and charms actually do exist I just have never found anyone who can do anything. . . I keep looking but so far I have never found anyone who claims to me a witch that can do any spells or charms.
You asked so I will tell you. Imma Hufflepuff :) I'm in a bit of pain from getting my bottom wisdom teeth removed because they used a local anaesthetic but this video made me happy :) thank you
Dont forget harry potter is a movie, there have been loads or wizard and witchcraft movies going back to 1930s and the wizard of oz. Real witchcraft wizardry is quite different, modern witchcraft or wicca started by gerald gardner is a religion. However there are some real witches and wizards out there. I dont tend to use the term witch, prefering to use either wizard or saucerer. We meet in a coven and group at full moon and do a sabat ritual outside of that we cast spells make potions do tarot and rune readings and many other things. I have been in a few covens diferent types but am now staying with traditional uk celtic and germanic witchcraft and wizardry. There are one or two places in the uk, where you can learn about witchcraft.
I think this video can teach us that you can't learn magic from harry potter and the magic of harry potter is not the same thing as real sorcery or witchcraft or sihr. however I think it is obvious that reading these books can tempt someone to go down that path which is dangerous in the day of the internet where this kind of knowledge is widespread. there's even a witch store in my town. in other words, if you're someone in faith who is strong in their faith it is probably safe to read harry potter with the right intentions, but I wouldn't recommend letting your children read them as I've seen so many young fans of harry potter including myself fall down the path of wicca and crowlean invocational magic and greek or coptic mystery cults and satanic lesser and greater magic and chaos magic and all of the various schools of sihr.
My sister thinks harry potter is a history book. Shes 55 and thinks she see's ghosts and she's pyschic. She will call you a muggle. She was told to get help by a real crone.
I'm a huge Potterhead and my fellow Potterheads friends thinks I'm just rping as we always do and this video! THANK YOU they can finally realize what I am! Right yes I'm a Slytherin too!

Just found your channel the other day and am loving it! I'm a Gryffindor, although I definitely feel the influence of Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.
Potions class is like a kitchen witchery, home eq class (best equivalent).
And I'm a slytherin
I'm a ravenclaw and no surprise I'm into Astrology, Divination, Demonology, Angelology, Herbalism, etc. Just basically everything
I got so exited when I saw the title!! Awesome video idea 🖤🔮 I’m a Slytherin btw
