Groms are awesome. I’m kinda happy that I got the granite and made it brushless. I was going to buy a Mojave after but they were back ordered. Now I’m just gunna get the Grom Mojave blx.
Wow, just wow ! Take my money that thing is wild. A little larger tires for easier flips and that thing would be a skatepark weapon. 53mph for something that small might as well be 100. Incredible 🤘👍
ARRMA knocked it out of the park with the new Grom, and I'm looking forward to seeing the Senton video. There's been a noticeable shift in the market to smaller platforms built off of well established larger scale siblings. Now if they would offer more kits to build from the ground up.
That's why I love typhons buggies wow super impressive 53 mph it's really 10 mph less then the 6s typh wow amazing man!!!! This will sell like hot cakes
Great review, as always! 👌🙏 Looks like a fun, powerful rig! I understand the practicality and the 100% RTR thing, but I do wish Arrma, or any other brand, stopped including AAs with their cars. If one needs/wants them, their available everywhere, including the shop one's getting the car from. Besides, decent, rechargeable alternatives are now super inexpensive and use less natural resources in the long run.
Smart what arrma is doing they are compete against all the other smaller scale stuff like mjx rlaarlo deerc etc. These look way better then the wltoys buggys 😂
Same here. I bought the brushed Typhon AND Mojave just 4 weeks ago after being ignored when asking if I should hang on for any possibility of brushless models. And now they expect us to just buy these cars again after they have fixed the inadequacies of the original cars!
Keep that one for offroad and buy the new BLX if you can afford it, and keep it for on road. I have the brushed too, still fun but always wanted more speed.
I was going to pull the trigger until I realized I have a fully upgraded lc racing emb-1 buggy with a sensored brushless system that's been sitting on the shelf for years.... I may pick up the Mojave though 😂!
Very cool, but SLT makes the ESC throw away for anyone with a good transmitter. For big hands the included is crap. Frustrating you can’t bind Spektrum DSMR transmitters. Big fail there. Happy about this for the hobby and Mini Maxx is awesome. I’m hoping to pickup the older Grom for less now!

Glad they put the full metal diffs in there coz the ones on the brushed version are hot garbage. Love the extra upgrades like the steel CVD and the shocks too.
I wish the brushless system would have came out sooner. I'm just glad I didn't modify mine very much. This new brushless version dominates the skate park. Super tough and durable probably due to it's light weight. 👍 Thanks so much for sharing this in such a professional video.

if ever there was a entry level class of vehicle into the world of competitive rc racing, the Grom BLX Mojave and Typhon might be it! Like if you agree. This needs to be a thing in 2025.
i dont understand why RC companies use brushed motors. I can see on crawlers since they are more controllable but no RC other then that should be brushed.
This was such a smart drop by Arrma, they were getting walked on by the CCP conglomerates and they have responded with some very exciting little cars. Right before the holidays as well. Good job Arrma, keep it up!
i wasted my money on the mojave grom brushed, im salty about this honestly, so salty i sold it in fact. im giving horizon a break for a while, i dont like these games
I sold my typhon grom because they really don't drive well. I have a small backyard track made for the little cars. The og typhon grom wanders all over and spins out way to easy. The associated 14b is just way better
Maybe the changes they made on the blx will make it more drivable. Not trying to hate because I think it's a really sturdy and good looking car. I'm a fan of Arrma
Crappy Move Arrma. I have only just bought the Mojave AND Typhon brushed models, and now you reveal these upgraded models and expect everyone to buy again? You could have released both brushed and brushless options at the same time, but you didn't. You could have released the brushed model and had the courtesy to answer people's enquiries with a simple "Brushless coming later in the year", but you didn't. I now have two basically brand new cars that have already been superceded, and will now be hard to sell on (for a decent price) because everyone only ever really wanted brushless versions anyway, and the [now] known problems have been fixed (thanks to getting your paying customers to do your testing for you). I was going to buy a Mojave 4s next week but, how I feel at the moment, I don't want to give any more money to a company that feels like it's playing its customers.

Different. DSC is just on the steering channel, AVC is steering and throttle.
