    Great video! It really helped me out alot. I just installed this 340lph fuel pump and 550cc injectors and ported lower intake manifold and kenetix velocity upper intake manifold. My A/F readings are wild. 11 to 14 at idle but when I hit the throttle it goes to 8 and 9. I have a retune for a 150 shot of nitrous with moncef on Thursday!

    I’d recommend adding/welding in an x pipe between the resonators and flex pipes on the dual split y pipe. It would give the car that vq tone if you prefer, as well as more power

    Great video. I have a question, that returning line that u point on 1:30. Is that fixable cuz mine ripped in half 😢

    Aren't you suppose to drill out the silver piece too to match the flow of the piece you drilled out ?

    Good detail video. Was going go with the aeromotive 340lp fuel pump but I just go with the aem since I don't have to splice wires. Did you also bore out the hole for the fuel pump regulator? And is it necessary since you did it to the little plastic piece.

    • @I._NED
      @I._NED  2 года назад +1

      I didn’t drilled the fuel pump regulator, just a plastic piece

    Think you need to drill the hole for the regulator.

    Do you get 53 to 63 PSI with that pump? That's what the manual says it should be. The pump I have now pumps 40psi at idle and about 48 on load.

    I have a similar set up, im curious how much power did you make?

    Hey bro, any reason why mine (exact same setup) isn’t flushed when trying to bolt on the 6 bolts? the assembly doesn’t go far down enough for me to bolt it down

      Hey man dont know if you ever figures this out but definitely could have something to do with a bent fuel tank

    would i be able to drive without getting retuned immediately?

    • @I._NED
      @I._NED  2 года назад

      Most likely not, since your afr’s would be all over the place due to different fuel pressure

    After you install the pump did you had like a noise at the side where the pump is located?

    • @I._NED
      @I._NED  2 года назад

      This aftermarket pump makes more noise then oem one due to there is no more rubber grommet any more plus I think it’s just a little louder

    Hey man I installed same fuel pump and bigger injectors I'm not tuned yet, tuner will be coming to my house in a week, but we start the car and it acts sputtery and like it wants to run out of gas, would this be because I haven't got tuned yet or is there a problem with my installation

    • @I._NED
      @I._NED  Год назад +1

      It’s normal when not tuned. Since your pump now is bigger as well as injectors, it’s spraying more fuel into the cylinders. So your afr I assume super rich. It would cause your idle be very rough

  • @azter1234
    @azter1234 Год назад

    Kinda reckless using that drill, those tiny bolts only needs to be hand tightened, one stripped thread then you gotta replace the gas tank…

    • @I._NED
      @I._NED  Год назад +1

      It’s very easy to modulate torque on it with the trigger, it’s was about “hand tight”)
