I’m so glad you decided to go conservative and look your age. Aging is a blessing many don’t get to experience. You are beautiful and I think your surgeon did a great job! ❤️
Last October I turned 60 and was really contemplating a lower face lift. I’ve been following u for quite a few years. So when u said u were gonna do it, I was very intrigued. Your surgeon did an awesome job. Definitely very subtle in my opinion. You were beautiful before and still are now, inside and out. As for me, I’m not there yet. Thank you for sharing this video. And you are correct aging is a natural process that we can’t stop. I know there are little things we can tweak but we can’t stop it. So for now I’m gonna continue doing what I’ve been doing for many many years. Eating clean, drinking plenty of water and getting my rest. Thank u again for sharing ur story. ❤️
I think your surgery was beautifully done, and how people think you're unrelateable now is ridiculous. You're totally open and honest and informative about your experience it's unreasonable for people to slam you about it.
You are 100% relatable to me & this video is the most informative video I’ve seen in years. I’m seeing a plastic surgeon and I’ve done several procedures. It is hard trying to figure out which procedures to do b/c so much money, time, and downtime, is involved. Also I want to look 100% natural. I appreciate you sharing all your hard earned wisdom!
I want to thank you so much for sharing about your surgery and procedures. I want to have my eyes done pretty soon. I just started Xeomin for my 111 because I'm sick of always looking angry! Those are probably the only procedures that will be for me, and I want to reinterate how much you have helped me with that decision. People who are critical of you or anyone for having cosmetic surgery need to keep it to themselves. It is such a personal decision. Thank you again for all you do, Michelle!
You look so natural and fresh. Thanks for all the info! I'm 68 and thinking about doing the face peel. That's about all I can afford for now. Bless you and keep doing what you're doing. ❤
Your spot on! If you've been in the sun, no matter what you do, you won't be able to get rid of the damage. I'm a nurse and I had an 85-year-old woman who when I lifted her gown to give her a shot in the abdomen her skin looked like a baby, butt, porcelain and beautiful, i gasped, and asked her how - she told me she never wore a bikini. Her abdomen never saw the sun.
I love how you came to terms with your feelings about your face. Life changes can bring perspectives that we did not consider. I can imagine the pressure from the brands for their ambassadors and influencers, but I think that there is a movement out there that less is more, and learn to love the skin we are in. I know that my 56+ lines will never go away, but I am so happy to have beautiful bright healthy skin. Your story will help so many considering a facelift. Your vulnerability and honesty is what makes you beautiful. We look good when we feel good. Thank you for helping me feel better and look better with your videos and masterclass. You look great Michelle. And you are very relatable. 🙌❤️
I have seen you before your surgery. If I had not known, I would have never thought you had any work done. That is how natural you look! I have seen mature women have facelifts that just don't fit the rest of their body. We've all seen it. You look great. Your doctor did a beautiful and natural work! Blessings.
Love your details on your experience. I am doing a lower and upper deep plane next week with forehead lift. I am 70 years old and found an excellent surgeon. Please send a prayer my way
I have a savings acct for a facelift but the funny thing is the older I get the less I think I’ll get a facelift🤔I look good for my age and as long as I continue taking care of my skin I’m ok. Thank you so much for sharing❤️
Love your update. You look beautiful (You did before your surgery) post-surgery! I think you do look late 40's now! You are relatable because you share all your work with us (and that makes you very genuine). Good luck with your house. Thank you again for sharing and your transparency. Keep sharing with us! xo
I love your transparency! You're beautiful before and after. Ignore the naysayers. Miserable people love spreading their 💩. I wish you and your family all the best in Nashville. Looking forward to hearing all about it 😊
Love your updates and honesty. Your experience helped me through mine! I had a neck lift, lower face lift, under eye blepharoplasty with co 2 laser and fat transfer and a temporal lift in June. Im just over 3 months and love my results so far but it is definitely a journey. I think I had more swelling (the fat transfer and under eyes) and extra swelling on right side of my face and more numbing. My number 1 piece of advice after you find an amazing surgeon is give yourself time to recover (I never had bruising, lots of pain or fatigue), it's not a 3 weeks and all good. It took me 2 full months to feel more like myself and pretty again (trust the process) and now at 3 months enjoying the transformation even more and still looking forward to the 6 month mark. I too still have texture, small wrinkles and crinkles but I don't want to look 30 in my face and 60 in my body. I hated the sagging at jowls and neck, and under eye bags those areas they look amazing. Just an fyi in case anyone is near my area, my surgeon was Dr Starkman in Scottsdale AZ, he is young, very skilled and does 150 deep plain facelifts a year. He and his staff are amazing. My cost was 26K for reference.
You are so right and I’m glad you mentioned the recovery time because it is different for everyone but I didn’t feel myself for a few months. And thank you so much for mentioning your surgeon because women in your area will want to know this important information.❤
Thanks for your honestly Michelle. I’m 69 and think I’m going to leave my aging face be. I really feel good and just concentrating on my skincare. You look beautiful!
Bless you. You are lovely. Im 57 and have had work and I'm glad i did. I still look like I'm in my 50s... maybe a few years younger... but you're right, in your 50s surgery doesnt make you look younger, it makes you look 'refreshed'. But darn it at this age, who cares what others think? Do it (or dont) for yourself and nobody else.
Thank you for your honest review and opinion on things many people don’t want to talk about!! I don’t think you need anything, because you are beautiful … but if you are looking to address your bite and are looking for „natural“ alternatives for the eyes. I have two suggestions - have you ever looked into Oralift?! Amazing little gadget and you can see several amazing testimonials on RUclips. The other thing is PRF injections to address the hollowness and thin skin under the eyes. I personally want to stay away from all surgery, Botox and fillers. But PRF is from your own blood that gets injected back under the eyes - or other areas.it’s platelet rich fibrin, and the results look very natural. Thank you again … Blessings
I think you were lovely before & after your procedure, and you are relatable. You have encouraged me to start a focus on skincare (at 57!). I would love to have a bleph someday. There is nothing to feel bad about having procedures if it helps you feel better, and you’ve been very open & educational about it. I appreciate that.
You look amazing. Thanks for letting us watch you recover. I gotta say, the lip pulling crooked was adorable. What your makeup today? It’s great! Thanks for being here and sharing. Love you!
You are beautiful inside and out and your honesty is refreshing. I love everything you present on your channel. I also invested in my teeth at age 70 ten years ago. No regrets at all. BTW your autumn eyes video was fantastic. Ordered all the eye shadows and you are were “ spot on” in your recommendations. Good luck with your move.
Michelle. Just watched your hooded eye video. Before your surgery. You are stunning either way . But I must say. Your jawline is definitely enhanced since your surgery. Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge and expertise! Bless you!
Thank you for doing this update first things first you are beautiful and you look amazing. I know exactly what you mean when you say you didn’t wanna look done. I am six months behind you in the exact same surgery so your updates are very helpful to me my biggest concern was the numbness And I’m glad to hear around the eight months mark your numbness is gone. Again thank you. Your videos have been helpful to me and I love a lot of your techniques all the best to you. I wish you much success.💐
Hi Michelle, I know what you mean when some lifts are so severe that it completely changes the way they look. I often think when a new generation of people look back and say ‘ what the hell were these women thinking’, just as we look at the 1950’s and can’t believe what they were doing back then. I don’t think you need to justify what you have done because you’re makeup is what we love and your personality!! Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your chats on RUclips xxx
YOU are gorgeous! I am sorry, I just watched this on Tuesday morning. I just got back from a wedding in Lake Tahoe. STUNNING wedding. Thanks for the update.
Thank you for being so honest! I totally agree with looking natural and you look great! I had a lower facelift last November. My goal was really to get rid my jowls and my neck was starting to sag. I am mostly happy with the result. Only one person asked if I had work done and that is what I wanted. I left my eyes alone because I wanted to continue to look my age and didn't want people to notice. I just wanted to look refreshed. I had my lift done in South America with an excellent surgeon. I had seen his work on friends for years before I decided that I would go through with it. Mine cost a third the price of yours including my stay there and travel costs, but it was scary to go through. I agree that it would have been nice to have a surgeon closer to home because I could not have follow up with him in person. He did make himself totally available though and I could text or call him direct. But surgery is already scary enough and nerve wracking without having to worry about being far from home. I went with a couple of friends who also had work done and one who took care of us. I did the first part of my recovery there and stayed for a month so I could follow up with the surgeon and also take in the country. Am I happy with the result? Yes mostly. I have one scar behind my ear that shows but I camouflage it with a bit of makeup. The rest of the scars are gone! I'm sure it will continue to fade. I am not completely happy with my neck because I have a dimple at the front that wasn't there before, but it is much better than it was, sagging is gone and hopefully will be better with time. A facelift takes one to two years to be completely healed. Would I go through surgery in future? No. Once was enough. It is surgery and nothing really prepares you for the reality of it. Am I glad I did it? Yes.
You looks fabulous, and your result is beautiful. I had a deep plane face/neck lift almost 2 years ago. Love my neck, generally love the face but still not thrilled with the jowl area. (We are our own worst critic) I also asked my surgeon to go conservative, so I still look myself, but all I see is some jowl “heaviness.” I still have some very slight numbness under my chin and near my ears. During this time i have also been in Invisalign due to my bite shifting. Almost 2 years in, but nearing the finish line. Probably the best money I have spent.
Oh my gosh! I have the same issue with my teeth! Always perfect and now the crowding is starting and I am constantly biting my tongue or cheek. Thank you for your valuable information and honesty. You look absolutely gorgeous and natural.
Loved listening to your 6 month update! I 👏👏you for deciding to invest in your teeth and oral health, you wont regret it and not for nothin’ but I watch your video’s on Seint vs anyone else’s because you are amazing! You are empirically beautiful, oh no doubt, however, I have to watch every video you make, since discovering you, because of YOU! You are, one in a million Michelle. I will watch you as long as you post, as both our darn faces, “cave in” lady. I am sure most everyone feels this way about you! No one can compete with what YOU have darlin’!
Thank you! Your facelift is beautiful. I appreciate all the updates as I have been thinking of getting one for many years. Best wishes on your move to Nashville.
Im so glad you didn’t go overboard with PS, many end up looking stretched out like those older women in LA. You did it right and it looks so natural and beautiful. You are an inspiration!
I can’t believe it! The first and only time I watched your video was your jones road video. When you said you liked your eyes but should do a lower face lift, I was screaming..DO IT DO IT AI to the computer. I did it too and wow! I just clicked your video today and was immediately struck by how great you looked. I went back and saw that,of course, you did the lift! Great job!you look amazing and just a BETEER you
I found you last Summer when you had your peel. I appreciate that you honestly share your journey. You look so pretty. You look like yourself. Continuing to pray for your hours to sell 🙏.
Thank you for always being transparent- I believe you truly help others know what it would be like. It would be good for you to address your bite issue because when your bite is not right all kinds of things go wrong, especially headaches and teeth grinding. I have had to wear a night guard since 1986 for grinding and TMJD. Lastly, what is your secret to getting rid of your scars - my feet scars are still with me almost 1 year later while I have been using Mederma religiously. Great video! ❤️ ,
I worked for a very renowned plastic surgeon here in St. Louis for two years and it is a smart move not going with a deep CO2 laser. By just looking at the recovery of these women was enough to scare me away forever.
Thank you for sharing your experience, super helpful. Great reminder to be realistic about outcomes and expectations. My 3/4 face Ablative laser redness didn't fully dissipate until about 9 mos & I have spots of hypo-pigmentation. Still glad I did it but it was a crazy journey.
I am only 32 but watching this and then reading the comments makes me realise how many people still self conscious that far down the track and it makes me sad that even when I’m older I still won’t feel comfortable in my own skin. I’d always hoped it would get easier with age when we learn to focus on more important things 💔
You look great! Thank you so much for this video well explained I went through facelift back in Dec 12 23 it’s almost 5 month and the sensations are gradually coming back but I was freaking out as you said still numb close to my ears sides of my face. My left ear was numb but the sensation is coming back. Still have burning sensation but they say it’s good because the nerve re regenerating I’m hoping my numbness around my face would go away and after watching your video you gave me that hope finger crossed Thank you again
You are wonderful!! Such a blessing for us mature women. When I watch your videos, I feel like I'm sitting down and listening to a dear friend. You continue to look as wonderful on the outside as you are on the inside. Good luck selling your house (try the St. Joseph statue) Please let us know the makeup you used today and of course as always, God bless you too 😇😍
You look GREAT! So refreshed! I love what you said about being kind! People who are not kind are unhappy people! Can't let them bother us! But we can sure pray for them😃🙏 The ladies i know that have gotten surgery or other things done.....some have gotten addictive to it 😮 Welcome to Tennessee! Its so beautiful here! And talk about kind people......best state EVER🥰
You are relatable and you look beautiful. You have inspired me to improve my skincare and I have found makeup (seint and some other products ) that I love. Thank you for the update and information, it is very helpful to me as I have considered similar things as I age. Also, love the colors you used on your eyes and the technique, hoping you cover those colors and maybe can teach how to apply the cat eye (if that's what its called)
any chance you can share where you got those star earrings. I have been looking for something like this for a while and yours look perfect.@@maturemakeupmasterclass
I’ve never had any face work done and would never and couldn’t; but I love watching you and will continue following you and enjoying you❣️ I’ve learned a lot about products and techniques from you…..thank you 💖🤩
You not only look natural after lower face-lift, you look FABULOUS 50'S!!! That's how I want to look, too. Around my age, but just fabulous, and you're showing that possibility!! 😉🤩
I don't think you look differently. Yes I can see the difference and it is wonderful. The only thing I want done is a lower bleph. I have recently just began getting them and i just want to cry.
I am happy that you are satisfied with the directions you are taking. Honestly, God's truth on my part. I had upper eyelid surgery at age 45 because my upper eyelids were falling over my eyes just like my Dad. I had great insurance and my UCLA surgeon taught the procedure and was at the top of his field. What I didn't count on was how thin my pale Irish skin is and the scars never truly went away. I can always see your scars, sorry but I just can. Maybe your skin is tougher than mine and they will fade. With age, my eye lids are redder and the scars more visible. I didn't know enough then to gently treat the lids. I see that you hardly wear any eye makeup now. Part of me says great the gentler she is the scars will stay pale and not pull the skin further. The selfish part of me misses the great eyeshadow looks you use to do. You do you. If I don't watch you as often forgive me but I love eyeshadow and I'm off watching clown makeup. Peace out😍
You ARE truly relatable and honest. Yes, as we age our face changes, lip, eyes and teeth shrink. Word of advice take care of your teeth, as gums shrink and decay sets in and then you lose your lip volume. (not pretty) Excited for you on your move. Best wishes on your new adventure.
I'm so happy for you. You look great, and I love how you're so real. Some people are hatters, but in reality, they are jealous and don't have better things to do but talk trash. You will sell your house and congrats in the new house in Nashville.
i have had 3 co2 in 4 years. I find me skin texture is much smoother, my skin is tighter, and mabye a little less wrinkles but they are amazing. I think the chemical peels are somewhat worthless. You look amazing and people are just jeaulous. I hang out with people my age and they looks so much older then me. I have also had a lower facelift. You are blessed and go with god.
Hello! This is my first visit to your channel and I'm loving watching your advise and techniques. You mentioned that you had upper eye lid surgery and I'm thinking about doing that. Did you make a video about that and if so, could you point me in the right direction. What advise would you give me about that procedure? Awake or not? Cost? Healing time? Etc. Thank you so much.
Hi! I live in Nashville- welcome! Hope I run into you somewhere along the way😄 can you please share who you were going to see in Nashville? I would like some laser work done
Hi, thank you so much for sharing your journey, you look so lovely. I was thinking of having CO2 but now I’m going to try peels, could you please share the type of peel you had? Thanks so much ❤️
You look great. I've been saving for a LOWER. But my "jowl pockets" look like your after. So, what I've been doing is using self tanner all front jawline and a teeny bit more on the pockets themselves. It does minimize them. I will also supplement with contour when the tanner starts to fade It's a tricky technique. A lot of trial an error.
1st and foremost, you’re absolutely beautiful and in my opinion, very relatable! What was your downtime? I had a blepharoplasty done already so I’m just looking to do the 1/2 lift? Thanks in advance 💕
I’m so glad you decided to go conservative and look your age. Aging is a blessing many don’t get to experience. You are beautiful and I think your surgeon did a great job! ❤️
Thanks Tonya ❤

You look amazing. Thanks for letting us watch you recover. I gotta say, the lip pulling crooked was adorable.

Good point about going out of country. I had an excellent surgeon but I really would have liked the reassurance of having his clinic nearby.
You look so refreshed and beautiful! He did a miraculous job!

Thank you for mentioning braces! I am def looking into Invisalign ❤
Michele, You look so amazing and great insight.
Thank you so much for sharing your journey ❤ I think you look VERY WELL.RESTED and you look a little smoother.
Thank you so much! And yes, love the word rested!
Thank you! Your facelift is beautiful. I appreciate all the updates as I have been thinking of getting one for many years. Best wishes on your move to Nashville.
Thank you for this video. So much honesty, very helpful and you look beautiful! 🤩
Im so glad you didn’t go overboard with PS, many end up looking stretched out like those older women in LA. You did it right and it looks so natural and beautiful. You are an inspiration!
Stunning! Wow you look beautiful, soft (like a nice filter) and you have such a glow. It’s everything I’d want. Bravo girl, good for you! 👏🏼
Thank you so much!!
You are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
You are so welcome!
,
No secret to scar healing. My surgeon is a genius at stitching, an artist, so my scars are not visible ❤
@@maturemakeupmasterclass I wish my foot surgeon had skill 😩
I worked for a very renowned plastic surgeon here in St. Louis for two years and it is a smart move not going with a deep CO2 laser. By just looking at the recovery of these women was enough to scare me away forever.
i love your makeup in this video! I think your results are absolutely beautiful!
Looking great! Thank you for the information.
I absolutely love your honesty. You look beautiful
Really love watching you and hearing your thoughts. You have good spirit❤️
Good morning! Thanks for the update. Have a great weekend.
I am only 32 but watching this and then reading the comments makes me realise how many people still self conscious that far down the track and it makes me sad that even when I’m older I still won’t feel comfortable in my own skin. I’d always hoped it would get easier with age when we learn to focus on more important things 💔
Thank you. I needed to hear this. I am having a mid plane fl in two weeks
Wow! Exciting
You look great! Thank you so much for this video well explained I went through facelift back in Dec 12 23 it’s almost 5 month and the sensations are gradually coming back but I was freaking out as you said still numb close to my ears sides of my face. My left ear was numb but the sensation is coming back. Still have burning sensation but they say it’s good because the nerve re regenerating I’m hoping my numbness around my face would go away and after watching your video you gave me that hope finger crossed
Thank you again
You are wonderful!! Such a blessing for us mature women. When I watch your videos, I feel like I'm sitting down and listening to a dear friend. You continue to look as wonderful on the outside as you are on the inside. Good luck selling your house (try the St. Joseph statue) Please let us know the makeup you used today and of course as always, God bless you too 😇😍
👏👏 well said, so true and nobody really talks about it, love your transparency ❤
You look GREAT! So refreshed!
I love what you said about being kind! People who are not kind are unhappy people! Can't let them bother us! But we can sure pray for them😃🙏
The ladies i know that have gotten surgery or other things done.....some have gotten addictive to it 😮
Welcome to Tennessee!
Great idea! Cat eye soon!
any chance you can share where you got those star earrings. I have been looking for something like this for a while and yours look perfect.@@maturemakeupmasterclass
I’ve never had any face work done and would never and couldn’t; but I love watching you and will continue following you and enjoying you❣️ I’ve learned a lot about products and techniques from you…..thank you 💖🤩
You look amazing! So love you sharing!
You look fantastic! I feel anyone who is critical is jealous. You have to do what makes you happy❤keep being you❤
Thanks Gloria❤
Wow, I just heard the price!! That’s good!!👍
This was so informative and you look gorgeous!
YOU LOOK AMAZING BEFORE AND AFTER!!! It’s your HEART that’s beautiful my friend🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
You not only look natural after lower face-lift, you look FABULOUS 50'S!!! That's how I want to look, too. Around my age, but just fabulous, and you're showing that possibility!! 😉🤩
your surgery is beautiful, so very well done, you iook real, and the best of luck in your new life in Nashville.
You were beautiful before & now, you are such a sweet & helpful person ❤
I don't think you look differently. Yes I can see the difference and it is wonderful. The only thing I want done is a lower bleph. I have recently just began getting them and i just want to cry.
Natural looking! So happy for you!
Thank you so much for being informative.
Peace out😍
Looks amazing. Fresh
Thanks for the tips! Great advice for ALL of us!
Stay Safe Michelle In Nashville.!!
You look beautiful, Michelle!
Thank you for being young
Great video!! 🙏
If you say you look 56, one of the BEST 56 year Olds I've ever seen. What a difference..amazing, natural, etc.
Thank you for sharing! I'm so glad bc I was contemplating co2 under my eyes too. I think I'll hold off. You're the best❤
Maybe others had longer lasting results???🤷🏼♀️
You were beautiful before and now you're magnificient dear Michelle!
I’m tempted to purchase crepe erase, they have one formulated for neck.
If you try it, let me know, but my friend was once Jane Seymour’s make up artist, and Jane admitted, she never uses it😂
I love your look today, Michelle! So beautiful 🤗
You look great.
You look beautiful and very natural. No one would ever know you had plastic surgery.
Good info, Michelle! I want to do my eyes but I’m afraid I won’t look like me, ya know? Doing tummy in December and might talk to my surgeon 😊
WOW BEAUTIFUL IS ALL I CAN SAY!
Thanks so much ❤️
please watch your jones road video compared to this one. You look amazing! Such a massive difference.
You look great. I've been saving for a LOWER. But my "jowl pockets" look like your after. So, what I've been doing is using self tanner all front jawline and a teeny bit more on the pockets themselves. It does minimize them. I will also supplement with contour when the tanner starts to fade
It's a tricky technique. A lot of trial an error.
Gorgeous! Natural! Boo to the creepers! Having mine In two weeks! Thanks I am 62. Neck fell. 😢Getting laser as advised. 🎉
Beautiful!!
1st and foremost, you’re absolutely beautiful and in my opinion, very relatable! What was your downtime? I had a blepharoplasty done already so I’m just looking to do the 1/2 lift? Thanks in advance 💕
