    As an angels fan I’m very glad to have Nolan on our team. Having a guy who can get on base at an elite rate is a huge win for them. I could see him becoming a Freddie freeman like player. Win Shohei likely leaving, having Nolan pick up some of the offense will be huge for getting the halos back into the postseason.

    • @fredyuen2489
      @fredyuen2489 Год назад +4

      Probably not getting back into the postseason because you can’t have Nolan carry the team like Shohei was expected to.

      @@fredyuen2489 This storyline is so overplayed. We have more players than Nolan. The biggest thing with the Angels is staying healthy and having consistent pitching. We've got a whole new coaching staff and training staff. Things will be better next season with or without Ohtani (although of course we want Ohtani), and if not next season, then absolutely in 2025 with our new young core. We have a tough division to play, but we've always had the players to get us to the playoffs, they just can't stay healthy.

      @@MusicKidRem it’s over played because it’s true, Ohtani and Trout pretty much carry the whole team. And Rendon sucks since he came to the Angels. It’s just like the mariners and how they can’t make the post season except once in a long blue moon.

    • @MusicKidRem

      @@fredyuen2489 yes, I didn’t say it wasn’t true. I’m saying it’s overplayed, meaning that it’s everyone’s response to anything Angels related. It’s been said a million times. It’s like a song that plays on repeat. Everyone is playing the same song, there’s other songs; there’s other things to talk about regarding the Angels. As I’ve mentioned, we have a new young core to get excited about.

    I am an Angels fan. I have seen many players over the years play for the team of the greats and not so great ones. However, I will tell anyone this. Our team doesn’t care what our prospects are ranked since we can tell by just watching them. Nolan past history in his style of hitting I knew that he would be something special and he showed it every day. He reminds me of the style of Michael Stefanic and David Fletcher. All of these players love getting on base no matter what and putting the ball in play each time. Each player here could deffently get better on the team. For example, Nolan says he wants more power, he will deffently get that in due time and will get better defense with Ron. Stefanic gets on base a lot too and pretty sure won the minor league batting title and has inproved a lot on his defense this year and hitting similar to his minor league after focusing waymore. David focused on striking out less and and try spraying his ball more wildly on base, but he needs to raise is on base average this season when no one on base since it is around 260, but when people on it goes to like 320. That is insaine numbers. Then we have Neto, that looks like an elite Shortstop who get even better next season with Ron help. His reach area will probably get even better with Ron do as good or better than Simmons time in the past. Nolan also has some insaine good pop for home runs with elite eye. He only ended his year on not so good way since he was still battling injury from catching amazing play from Texas months ago. But what makes Neto an elite shortstop players is him knowing who throwout and using his elite arm with one of the fastest in the game. If he sees someone going to third he will check there and throw them out. I have never seen anyone do that on our team before for a shortstop before. All these players get made fun of all the time on the Angel's until you realize the rebuild is practically done. I wanted a new amazing coach last year, but this year he is here. Will Ohtani stay? No clue, but the Angels have enough pieces filled and to go out to get to see who will join this team next coming season. Every Angels player wants to play and wants improve badly to get there. Spring Training will show us who will be there. Even our minor leagues expect a chance to play too, so it is very competitive down there. Have a great day anyone reading this and hope some of these stories are said more and not overlooked since when Nolan cameup doing all these amzing things, when Zach, Stefanic, Mickey, and etc, not single media person wanted cover atleast most of them for a long while.

    As an Angels fan, I am beyond excited for our young core of players: Schanuel, Neto, Moniak, O'Hoppe, Joyce, Detmers, Silseth, and Adell (all ages 21-24). This young group is criminally underrated, and in a couple of years, I think we can do something really great. With Moose as a mentor, it's almost reminiscent of the young core that got the Royals to back-to-back WS. A realistic hope for next season, even without the possibility of Ohtani, is that we'll be competing for a wildcard until the end of the season. It's just a matter of staying healthy. And with an all-new coach and training staff, this is a real possibility.

      Joyce and Schanuel are the ones I'm most excited about. It's unfortunate that Ohtani is about 80% of the team's output. I have no doubt the young guys will be better next year. But the team won't be able to replace the 12 war that Ohtani was on pace for. I think they will have a fun season with the young guys. But I'm not sure they can be competitive if Ohtani walks.
