The security guards are so underqualified it's sad. There's some rough places by the train tracks where I live, it gets to -40cel here sometimes in winter so public transit is one of the few places people who need to can warm up so they hang around the stores that stay open when transit shuts down.
The guy who does the overnights at the 24/7 gets it and does it really simple. He'll always how you respect first no matter who you are or what you need, if you show that same respect back he'll treat you right. He'll give out free coffee's to regular's treat him right when he can, ie. not taking the change they saved up. This all means that if someone who's drank too much or is way too high gives him trouble, the homeless and down on their luck deal with it for him and it keeps trouble away.
Security guards like that make their lives so difficult by acting like that when just asking how it's going would've completely changed that interaction.

He'd find it interesting how the government recently passed laws, allowing up to three storey high builds in densely populated areas, in the middle of private housing. The rapid increase of the development, how it differs from Australia. He'd also like the food here, which is culturally different to Australia, yet some similarities as we have indigenous here. Can't be that bad if Jason Momoa is moving here, spends most of is time here 😅

What that means is, Spanian will have to potentially apply for an NZeTA visa waiver, likely undergo an interview process that will assess his character. If immigration decides that he has flaws which show immediate risk to the public, then he could be denied, but since Spanian is rather a personable character, with a clean history for at least 10 months, he will have a high chance of being granted entry.

Yes, more Colombia! haha I can just imagine the two of you as teen troublemakers in that area! Anyway yeah, I deliver food (Ubereats & Doordash) in that area a lot. First time I had a delivery to one of the flats, I was like 'wtf......people here can afford to order Ubereats?!?!' I was a bit cautious going in with the security and all, but now that I deliver there a lot more often, it's nothing, doesn't fase me. People there are mostly pretty normal and friendly I've found, but there can be a few interesting but harmless characters walking around there sometimes. And yes, there are long lineups when the charities come with meals in that small park near where they do Tai Chi on the basketball courts. Interesting little area!
