Good acting, character development and good directing honours the writer, the story and respects the discerning audience. John Drainie, my father was a brilliant Canadian actor. Discussions like what you’ve shared here often took place in our home. You are brilliant Eddie and this brought back such fond memories of my dad. Thank you.

Eddie Izzard is a real woman - lipstick, mascara, high heels, skirt. Eddie has it all. That's all that a woman is, according to Eddie. If you have all of those things, you are a woman - period.

He's not a woman. I find it so offensive these men have taken female language and adopted it as their own. Horrid little man.

To many people in the UK and abroad, Eddie is a hero and deservedly so. Read about her charity and activism work - working to address poverty and social injustices. An incredibly funny stand-up comic too. A complex, multi-faceted persona and performer, who breaks conventions. 🙂

@@emmab2136-o3v Honestly, I think it says more about you. Going around calling perfectly good people "horrid" and "offensive." Luckily, for the rest of us, the good people of the world like Eddie won't be deterred from being wonderful human beings in any language.
