A lot of sad angry folks in this comment section. Personally I think Eddie looks great. Even if he doesn’t, what business is it of mine or anybody else’s how he chooses to dress?
I'm also confused that people think it's something new? Eddie's been openly trans for decades.

referred to himself as “transgender” in recent years, and has previously used the word “transvestite” which has - in recent years - fallen out of fashion. Admittedly I find that surprising because he’s never struck me as trans (I mean, I keep using the “he” pronoun, something he’s fine with); I would be inclined to say something like “gender-fluid” or “gender-queer”. But, again, how Eddie presents and identifies is his decision and his alone.
The poster you were replying to is not wrong to point out that Eddie has been fluid in his gender presentation for decades. Suddenly grumpy folk are telling him “he needs help” and “he looks gross”? Sad state of affairs when people were more accepting in the 90s than in 2020.
Anyway, bringing it back to the video, I like the combo of Izzard and Ayoade. Not as dynamic as Richard and Noël Fielding or Richard and Chris O’Dowd But there’s something quite...quietly confident about this pairing 😊

autumn colours I’ve...seen quite a few of his shows. I don’t know how my original comment came across as me not being familiar with Eddie. I was just making the point that those getting their knickers in a twist were being stupid. And honestly, it doesn’t matter that Eddie Izzard is a very famous standup and has been gender-bending for decades (though...you know...that!). He could be a total nobody and his gender presentation would still be his business alone!

Lake Bled is one of the nicest places I've been to in the whole world.
It's quite nice. I would recommend some of the lakes in Austria. Even better.

and that was one hell of an alpine coaster ride.
on top of that, i like that this program focuses on the local quality of water and milk, which i find very underrated in travel TV nowadays.

I'm glad they at least tried the Mlekomat in Ljubljana, but they really don't 'get' Slovenia if they aren't cycling on the bike highway past Kranjska Gora to Fusine, or sampling the mountain tea in Triglav, or picking mushrooms in the ancient forests and then cooking them with fresh butter from the neighbor's cow. I guess it's hard to do in heels.

Tbh i wear guy clothes generally (baggy pants, regular t-shirt, DC shoes in men's kuz size /fit). No one says anything about it, or so very many other females who dress in technically men's clothing.
It's how I'm most comfortable.
I do believe Eddie dressing as he does, is how he feels most comfortable. There is nothing actually different between these two situations.
I also don't wear make up, ever, as I feel totally uncomfortable in it. I can't imagine being forced to wear things intended for women, or forced to wear make up, as it zero percent resonates with me.
I'd be miserable all the time.
So Eddie doing as he feels most comfortable, wearing what clothes feel most resonant amd wearing make up for the same reason... makes sense, surely.
It's the same. Yet people are still hung up on males looking male. Eventho it's still fairly new because men used to wear flamboyant or feminine clothes and tons of make-up, not that long ago tbh... ;)
