An idea for your health journal. I recently watched a video where this woman used the weekly pages as a bullet point type of “table of contents” as it related to the full daily page. So like, on her Aug 4th daily page she would write about the day, but in the weekly page she ignored the time slots and just made bullet points for any highlights from that day she would want to quickly find. It saved her the time from flipping through daily pages of journaling to find a single event she wanted to reference. Maybe something like that would work for the “15,000 ft view” you would want for any health trends? I started using this method and my weekly pages are filling up like never before. It makes a lot of sense too, whether your health tracking or daily journaling in general. Anyway, thought you might like the idea to brainstorm options for your health tracking! 😊
What a fantastic suggestion! Thank you so much. I’m a disabled cancer survivor who needs to track many things. Not only had I not thought about a health journal, your suggested tracking process is a perfect fit for me. So glad I saw @JDRobinson_author video. I’m experiencing new symptoms that I need to track and I was about to get a whole new Weeks set up. I’m glad I didn’t. Such a thoughtful suggestion. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing! I love your choices! I also found this really helpful as I’ve ordered an A5 HON as a health planner/tracker. I’m sorry that you have complex health problems to record and deal with. So do I. My sleep and daily routines according to how much sleep I get are all over the place so I plan to use the weekly pages with the 24 hour columns to easily see when I slept/for how long each night and maybe a couple of other key things, and then use the daily pages for more detailed notes. I think a weekly overview of hours of sleep and activities etc could - for me at least - be really helpful. So that’s just a suggestion for the weeklies. It’s helpful to hear about the ways you are going to use your A5 for health tracking. I wish you well and hope your health improves. By the way, the medium size drawer pouch you have is the Ane. The other medium-ish size you mentioned is the small drawer pouch and is quite a bit smaller whilst still being long enough to hold pens, pencils etc. It’s more suitable for tools and has a different configuration inside to the Ane but is still very useful. Enjoy your purchases! I hope the planner serves you well!
I have worked on my pain journals for about two years. I use a Laurel Denise planner and then transfer my data into charts into my weeks. This year I bought a weeks mega. I think I can do a lot more. I also bought a plain notebook to go with my a6 planner and that has been working too. If you would like any pics, just let me know. I have fibromyalgia and it is a hard thing to track.
I also was not planning on ordering anything but got the Ukrainian Flowers Pouch Pocket, and the Drawer Pouch Áne in the Ukrainian Flowers, the drawer pouch in Suit Fabric: Navy Stripes, (it’s a little smaller than the regular drawer pouch). I wasn’t planning on getting a HON but got the A6 seahorse version. I bought the A5 sized notebook with the plant illustration like your A5 Hon, and purchased the “Have a Nice Day” Almond cover for it. I’ll be using that for work notes instead of purchasing the undated A5 planner, also got the illustrated plant Hobonichi Weeks, pencil boards, and the panda translucent sticky notes 🙈😅🤓👍❤
I bought a6 hon cats and plastic cover for it. I also bought the English weeks take a look. I figured my weeks will be my edc and my a6 will be my memory journal.

I’m sorry to hear about your health. I hope things improve for you. I got an a5 cousin and the twinkle Shells cover.
Aww, thank you!
The Ukraine pouch collection is so cute!
Aren't they?! I love them. They've held up so well.

OOOh, nice!! I've been thinking about ordering another blank A6 or A5 notebook, but I think I'm going to try and wait for my trip this fall.
I bought a6 hon cats and plastic cover for it. I also bought the English weeks take a look. I figured my weeks will be my edc and my a6 will be my memory journal.
The Cats hon is soo cute!!
I ordered the same. Does the Hon fit in the Blue Blue cover? Can't wait for mine to arrive!!
Yes! It's a little tight, but it's probably because the cover is new.
Shitajiki is the pencil board. I got a nice selection.
awesome! Thanks!
