Enjoyed watching your video. For my five year journal, I turned it into a Question-a-Day Journal. I asked my sister to come up with 365 questions for me and hide them in a Google doc. Each day, I highlight the question in the Google doc and change its color so I can see it. Its been a fun experience and only takes a few minutes to answer the question for that day.
Thank you so much! I’m hoping to make more videos in the near future. Feel free to share what you would like to see or what types of journaling videos you look for to keep you motivated.
Thanks for sharing and demonstrating the products. I discovered Hobonichi this year. I love their style. I’m sorry to hear about your injury. Hopefully, things are improving each year.
Thank you so much. I have another procedure coming up. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t. I honestly went through a really depressed attitude when it first happened and I didn’t ask for help, you know pride got it the way. But once I opened up and started asking for help, I found improvement. And I have to be ok with releasing chores to other people in the house. 😊 Can you tell I’m a control freak?! 😆
@@anotedmess I understand where you are coming from. After losing a leg in 1996, I didn’t do well until I got help. It is great that you are getting the help you need. That is taking control of your life in my opinion. Good luck on your procedure. I’m rooting for you.
Thanks again! And yeah, you definitely know where I’m coming from. I’m sure you’re journey to healing was really something to write about! I wish you the best! And again, thank you for sharing. ❤️🩹
I love watching James Burke also. He inspired me to get the 5 year too. I think I will be able to keep up with it. I got the A6 size but no cover. I figure I have 5 years to decide if I need one. Lol. Thank you for sharing your goodies! Also thanks for the idea about the little bag. I was wondering what to do with it and now I think I will put a little toy doll in it and gift it to our Great Granddaughter. She will love it. Happy planning!💜
Aww! That’s a great idea Diana! She will love it! Which bag are you going to gift her, is it the Pretzel one? Also I saw another 5-yearer DIY the cover of her A6 5year to slide into an old Techo cover. It can fit if you size down the outer cover. Just a thought! Possibilities are endless then. 😆
@anotedmess Mine isn't here yet so I don't know which ones I will get. I went a little overboard. I'm compelled to order up to the limit for free shipping so I will dend up with 4 of the bags. I was hoping to get one of each but I will give her whichever one I get 2 or more of if that is the case. Otherwise I will just eemie minie mo it. hehe
What a fun unboxing! My order just came today and it was so much fun to open. I love their packaging and the products are fantastic. I’m in the Cousin this year and went for the same for 2024 and also the Weeks Mega as well. That 5-year is stunning too…❤
Thanks Holly! I really got to work out the kinks in my 5year. I definitely gave it too many jobs and it didn’t work. I’m back in the original one I purchased and I’m only writing what’s on my brain in that moment. I just ask myself “what was memorable today?” Heck, if I just stick with that, I can do it!
I dont even use a Hobonichi (I am in a Kinbor at the moment) but I love unboxings and really enjoyed this video - your relaxed and welcoming style is so fun to watch :) Good luck with your fountain pen exploration, they are a perfect match with your journaling :) Looking forward to more videos in the future 💕
Fountain pens are a blast. I recommend a LAMY Safari for a first pen. It is very affordable. If you find you don’t like fountain pens, you will not have spent too much. Have fun exploring.
I had to go look up my order because I didn’t remember the names. 😂 It says I have a Twsbi? And a Sailor on the way…and a lot of ink samples. I decided to stick with De Artemis since it was faster drying and more waterproof than most of the brands they offered. I have a few samples from their brand and I like the way they feel on the paper. Plus, I don’t have to worry if I decide to put down watercolor after the ink has dried.
Yes, I could also feel the difference in the paper when I flipped through the new one. It feels like it would be not that easy to crinkle? Does that make sense....? I preferred the old feel but after I use the new one this year maybe I get used to it... Or else I don't know 😅
Good observation Ilia! It was almost …well is resistant the right word, I dunno. But yes it had this feeling of being stronger and more resilient than its predecessor.
Ok one more comment. I’m a lefty also. I find that my writing is totally messy when I’m putting down thoughts and it gets bigger the more I write. When I’m just notating something short I can write small and neatly if I use a fine point pen. 😂
You know what?!, You’re absolutely correct. If I’m transcribing a Bible verse, I can write very small, but if it’s coming off the brain, it’s fast and furious. 😂

Oh! How fun it that!?
Very unique idea to use for the 5 year.
Thanks for sharing Vista! 🥰
Hello fellow lefty! You'll love fountain pens ❤ it takes some time getting used to it but it'll be fun!
Love the unboxing- thank you for sharing!

Great video 📚 I hope you continue healing in 2024 ✨ TFS 💗
Thank you so much Michelle. I receive it!
When you flipped the A5 kubota pencil board... so good 😍
Right?! 🥰 So good!

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! Hobos and Kinnies are cousins. You can watch over here anytime. 😆 I won’t tell anybody.

@@anotedmess TWSBI’s are great! I want to get a Sailor. That will be a special purchase next year. Have fun with the new hobby.
The Sailors are on sale at Goulet all September.
I just grabbed an entry level one since it’s all new to me.
I’m just hoping I don’t make a mess. 😂

@@anotedmess Yes, resilient is the word!! Hm I'm not sure how I like it though... I guess we'll see
