This video features the CLA45s AMG which is one of the AMG performance versions of the Mercedes CLA. My car is the 2022 CLA45s AMG Coupe but you can also get the CLA45s AMG Shooting brake or even the A45s Hatch back.
The CLA45s gives you that great AMG sound from the AMG performance and also the luxury of a Mercedes Benz

Suprised me with that, nice motor what did you pay £85k £90k if so it’s a good price compared to a GT that’s nearly £170k there are a lot of bargains second hand now.
Thanks! I got it for £90k which was a great deal since the list price with all the options was £142k. Gotta love that first few years depreciation! It’s an absolute dream car for me because it has the 4.0 V8 engine from the AMG GT inside (although Aston Martin have made it their own with lots of tweaks) but the looks and handling from Aston Martin. It’s the total package. I also thought it would be great for content since it has quite a few Mercedes parts too.
@@ABAUTOAMG Yes that’s a great looking car think it’s around 3.2 to 3.5 secs 0 to 60 so it ain’t slow 😂, rear wheel drive will be interesting compared to you now being used to the 4 matic in the Mercedes.
Great price though like you say, you have your wife’s car for family outings now with it only being a 2 seater?

Thank you! I’ve got a few more videos I want to make with the CLA45s first then il be replacing it with a family car to go with the Aston Martin. Great thing about this Aston Martin Vantage is that it has the AMG GT engine and many Mercedes parts so I’m not quite leaving AMG :)

Although it’s not my main source of income the RUclips channel has made a good side income which I invest every penny back into the channel with ambitions for it to grow. So it’s allowed me to get this car which I am hoping will be be a good Investment and lead to more success and growth 👍

Funny thing since looking at your new car, which is so amazing I have also been looking myself at AM deals. My question is you are a family man is there enough room for your family, or do you still have your CLA 45S for days out.
@christopheratkinson1690 that’s a good attitude. Don’t let them spoil your passion and hard work 👍 The Aston Martin Vantage I have is only a two seater so it’s not really a good family car. It’s super comfortable though for cruising I’ve found and of course an absolute animal when you put it in sport+ and track mode. I’ve got a few more videos to make on the CLA45s first then I’m replacing that with a family car to go with the Aston Martin. We picked up a new edition to the family today, a golden retriever puppy (my daughter is over the moon). So I’ll need a large and robust family car. Something not too fancy since it will take a lot when doggy grows big. I have a older higher mileage car in mind that I think will be perfect and also interesting for content so il be sharing that when If I manage to find one 👍

Thank you Andrew, I thought this might be a big surprise! I still am in shock myself how we got here! The party piece on this Aston Martin is it has the AMG V8 engine from the C63s and the AMG GT (with some extra Aston Martin magic). There’s even lots of shared Mercedes parts inside like the touchpad, the steering wheel stalks etc. il be sharing this all in future videos :)

Thank you! It was a bit of a surprise. The draw for me was this Aston Martin model has the AMG GT engine and has some Mercedes bits inside so we’re not going to far from my Mercedes roots ;)

It’s an Aston Martin with a Mercedes AMG V8 from the GT and C63 under the hood and has a few more Mercedes bits inside too! Still sticking to my routes but with a bit more flair! What’s not to love here? :)

@user-tj9zc9cm2g Thank you. I’ve always dreamed of having an Aston Martin so once they started using AMG engines I set a goal to one day be able to get one and kept grinding. This car has the V8 engine from the AMG GT and C63s. There’s also a few Mercedes parts used inside too which il be showing in future vids. So although a very different car I have stuck to my Mercedes routes :)
