Bought it, put it on and some nice clothes. Went out and got plenty of looks and compliments. This watch is a keeper! One of my goals is to own a gold rolex one day, in the meantime this will do and remind me each day to keep grinding! Stay up watch gang!! 😎

Vach likely dropped 222 as a higher end go t after watching the PRX model go crazy last year. It’s important the market understand that far as this drop cycle and not just give Vach the 1st place in terms of how it was brought back to market. PRX all the wayyy
Integrated sport watches are hot right now so why not capitalize on it! Vacheron hit it out of the park!
I’m holding out for the gold, automatic, 35mm.

Just pulled the trigger on one of these at a great price in part due to this video. In an ideal world I would be able to try the 35mm and 40mm just to see how they wear, but my wrists are fairly elongated and I'm confident the 40mm will look fly as hell.

Tried on the PRX green and gold today. Absolutely loved both but went with the green (quartz). The dial is amazing but I have a feeling the gold will make its way into my collection at some point.

@@stevepapa You definitely do. It looks much different in person. It definitely has blue in it which can’t be seen in photos or videos. Stunning but would be a surprise if you offered it online.

I did mention it in my full review of the quartz blue dial. I want to say 5-8 years.
I wish tissot would make a rose gold brown dial powermatic version. That would be a perfect watch. I know I know it's going to be kind of a copy of the 5711 nautilus but still would be awesome

Need a gold watch in my collection, is the gold colouring likely to fade over time and reveal whatever metal is underneath?
It's PVD coated, not plated, so it shouldn't fade easily if at all.
Beautiful timepiece, I live in Australia and I'm waiting for the PRX in 36mm as it sits more as a 38mm which is perfect for a smaller wrist. Love your enthusiasm. Just subscribed so I can share the love of a watch that gives you bang for your bucks, especially here in Australia.

Damn my main goal is a Vintage 1803 Day Date President but this one is a juicer haha, my only problem with a Vintage Watch is that most of them scratched and sometimes the president bracelet is stretched... and this one looks like a good alternate
Solid choice on a vintage piece! I just can't do vintage due to sizing. Everything just wears small on me.

How big is your wrist? I have an almost 8 inch wrist and I love my PRX. It fits larger than a traditional 40mm due to the first link acting as an extension of the case. I typically wear 50mm+ lug-to-lug watches to actually fit my wrist better.

I held out for this version in the PM80… until I found it uses a plastic escapement that’s not meant to be serviced… so an Automatic watch that was made to be temporary 😭

I've never understood why people fuss about the white date on watches. It is really an advantage that the date is white and not the color of the dial. That way it can be read better.
It depends on the watch for me. Sometimes it's good and other times not so much!

compare the two please I want the seiko but the Tissot is shiner and much more modern and cheaper to service and more accurate because it is quartz.

Had to chuck a like at this video. Really hard to get a sense for the size sight unseen. I wanted to go for the 35mm, smaller is baller approach, but my wrist is almost your circumference and I think the 35 would just be too small. Nice review. Watched it twice on different days.

Same, it’s a jealousy to see smaller wrists have the whole vintage omega market to themselves for instance haha. In my opinion 36mm and below just looks weird especially if you’re built on 7.5+

You think these could be good investments? I mean for sub-$500 this is the best all-around gold watch. The design is a mix of AP and Oyster Quartz.
Absolutely not. This watch probably won't go up in value, there's just too many of them out there. I always advise against investing in watches. Better places to invest your money.
My question tho… is this watch turn green on your wrist? oder will the platted gold get rough and you can see the steel coming out under etc??
The watch won't turn your wrist green. PVD coatings are typically very hard so it won't wear off, or at least will take many years to wear.

Why is the gold version more expensive than the other colors?
It's because the case and bracelet are PVD coated compared to a non-coated case and bracelet.

This is more of an unboxing and first impression, not necessarily a review. But I have reviewed the PRX line multiple times so maybe the points I "missed" are in there. Good tip on the battery replacement!

Calling the Tissot PRX a Vacheron Constantin 222 alternative is like calling my 2012 Toyota Corolla a Ferrari 812.
I don't think that's a fair comparison. If you showed the PRX to the 222 to a "normal person", I don't know if they could tell the difference. It would be like comparing a Ferrari to a mid-engine Corvette.
