Thank you for reminding me about Pinterest 😅 I haven't been on for a while! Now that I have a website, I can finally claim it there ❤. I have some of my books that I created for AMAZON KDP there for 2 years now. So I am going to give it a boost and much love! Thank you so much again ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank You! Great tips! One thing I would add is to always ad website and or social handle to images and on a more techy note for those willing to make the effort add metadata to the images
Thanks for adding those! I’d say Pinterest is likely to remove the metadata when they reprocess them for their service. Social handle added in a nice delicate way to the artwork (in a way that wouldn’t bother a potential AD) or integrated in the photo can help ⭐️
This is a great video! Happy to see your content again. I feel like instagram, tiktok, etc don’t give the traction that can lead to sales and other things and you’re forgotten about so quickly after you post.
Instagram is strange. I started one for my art last year and I'd get a few followers a day up until 70 or so. After that, it doesn't matter what I post or which hashtags I use, all interest just stopped. It's getting tiring to try to live by an "algorithm" these days. I still haven't tried pinterest all these years but good to know there are more options out there. Thanks.
Yes, I have the same problem. I started a new IG account for my illustrations, I’m up to 145 followers but in the last month or so it seems like absolutely nobody sees my posts anymore, I get hardly any likes and almost no new followers anymore. I’m posting new things, static posts and reels almost daily and it just doesn’t make a difference. It is so frustrating! I started my Pinterest account about 3 months ago and I have the feeling this is working much better, my views are growing well. Haven’t had any viral pins or even that many people click through to my website but it’s early days. I definitely feel this has more potential than instagram at the moment. Instagram is just such a struggle and honestly feels like it’s bad for your mental health when you do everything you can and just get nowhere thanks to a stupid algorithm that doesn’t work for introvert artists!
I noticed a typo I meant I started the pinterest account 3 weeks ago, not 3 months ... The instagram account I've had for about 4 months now, it feels dead now 😒.
Thank you, this was so helpful. I am trying to dip my toes into SM, but it all just feels kind of too much😨!! But, I will have to bite the bullet sometime if I want to get my work out…your video has me thinking😅
And now we have people scrapping our artworks and feeding it into ai… 😩 if only we could go back in time when people were just copying it in an natural and longer time process…
I hoppe you all enjoy the video. Let me know about your experiences with Pinterest and how you use it. If you use it ...
I love Pinterest to look for inspiration. Thank you for showing how it can be used for my own work as well.

Glad you liked it!
Thank you for this great video! May I ask which image quality you recommend to protect the art from being stolen?
