Dude you are so nice and genuine to teach people, thats why i keep watching you, because i know that there will always be something to learn. Btw real nice series love it. Keep it up!
Thank you for making these videos. I'm just getting into sound design and it's definitely overwhelming at first, but the way you're breaking it down is helping me understanding much better. And it's also so refreshing that you aren't badgering me to sign up for anything. I'm excited to continue watching your videos and learning more. 🙏
Lol, Michael is such a master in music production, that even his own instruments are helping him to play -- this time guitar's griff is holding a microphone! :D
Genuinely one of THE best sources for professional music production advice on the internet! You're doing everybody a huge favor by putting out so much knowledge for free! I wish you the best of luck and keep making more.
That subtle vibrato is so much more amazing than people think. It's hardly noticeable in a full mis even if almost half your sounds have a very subtle vibrato to them. But it's one of those things that you don't really know are there but when it's gone you know something is missing. Just adds a nice bit of character to a sound or song for that matter.

"Thank you for watching." - well, no. Thank YOU for making these high quality videos.
In The Mix not only provides content that most people would charge for (plus releasing project files etc for free), but also communicates extremely clearly and concisely over digital media. Keep doing what you're doing, dude. This channel is golden.
After many months/years of follow and re-watching videos i can say OBVIOUSLY Michael's channel and teaching skills is a gem of gems. Love you, thank you for doin' your "job". Respect from Hungary.
You're awesome! As a 1 year old music producer, you videos really help me doing "correct" stuff. You have a calm and relaxing voice that really helps for the comprehension (as a French it helps a lot even though i don't have much difficulties in English) and you're really good at teaching what you know. So thank you for everything you do!
I don't know how, but your enthusiasm is contagious. You're passionate about what you teach, and it's so engaging and encouraging. I've been making my way through your sound design series and it's been incredibly helpful. Thankyou.
Hey Michael, I always wanted to learn music production/sound design very deeply, but could not afford a paid course due to some reasons; but then I came across this channel ! Thank you for such indepth tutorials, totally loving your videos! Hats off to your dedication! love from India
Man I love the way you describe and explain the sounds you are teaching us how to produce. You have such a great vocabulary with explaining and describing music. It really helps me understand and visualize what I hear while you teach. I'm grateful that you take time out of your life to help young producers like me.
I'm a young producer, I started out like some 2 to 3 months ago and I'm trying very hard to evolve and make my songs better and I'm realizing that I am actually getting better day by day and I'm telling 80% of that is due to this guy, he goes over every topic so slowly and in detail that its helped me like a lot and moreover he has literally free sample packs without that mail thing and stuff, like when he said that line I had to stop the video and process that. Thanks a lot man for all the things that ur doing amateur producers like me and I hope one day I can get better with ur tutorials :)
I know this may sound kind of cheesy, but right when i mustered up enough courage to make my own channel with with kind of music in mind, you just so happened to make a tutorial. Serendipity? God? Coincidence? Either way, I am super thankful. And if I have any success comes my way, it's in large part because of you. Thank you.
Whao! Thank you for this Michael! I am a teenage Synthwave producer and this is the kind of tutorial I was looking for in order to improve my pads. I really aim for my music to sound both professional but out of my heart as well. You rock!
Most of guys on youtube show how to make music, you explain not just how to make music but what is sound itself, it's so understandable I use most of the concepts you share on Ableton, I dont have Fl studio. Thanks for sharing your passion and spreading knowedge at the same time
Can't wait for part II. I do down tempo / ambiant mostly and I make my own pads often. But I'd love to get to the next level. My pads often lack movement. I use Arturia Pigments. I love this one.
I love the way you do these tutorials. There is a lot of shit like "how to make that house dong" and there is a guy saying "first you open up serum" followed by a series of "then you go here and tweak that, about 70%" so you actually don't know how the sound works, you just copy settings and if you don't have serum you're damned xD. On the other hand I was trying once to make that funny hardbass bass sound and 95% of tutorials were saying to download the sample, while 5% was about copying an serum preset... I love your work bro, keep on.
Thanks! This video, and others like it, is why YT is the greatest tool for learning in the history of the world. That's no mere hyperbole. Talented people are sharing their knowledge with others for free! We can glean so much without ever attending a physical classroom and listening to hours of padded, boring lectures -- and did I mention, for free? Okay, many vloggers have sponsors nowadays but they're NOT asking you directly for money. And even if there is money involved for added materials the value of the information presented generally far outweigh the nominal fees. But, if you do the research to get the best teacher, with the best credentials, and the best and most accurate lectures for your needs, you can get a higher education online for free and you don't have to attend any classrooms. Actual educational credits can be earned towards a GED or other degrees after testing. As a quality public education is on the decline, private education via sources such as YT can be a very valuable educational resource!
before i started this video i went upstairs and made myself a fresh cup of tea with coconut oil and almond milk. Michael's entire aesthetic is so cozy and warm, down to the lighting in his studio, to his talking voice. I feel like I'm watching ASMR :)
Why do I feel you are the creator of FL Studio? If not, you have a part in the sound system plugins...the vast knowledge about sound engineering is jus awesome & incomprehensible. Am always learning a lot from your videos...may you be Blessed Micheal and thank you so much for your selfless effort in teaching the world, making the complicated easy to do👌🙏🙏

Thanks dude! You have inspired me not just to make music, but to help and teach people about the things i know. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity! Hey Michael, thank you so much for everything you do man. I really appreciate it. You’re a true gift for every upcoming producer out there and an actual GOD of FL Studio. I wish you the best of success, health and happiness in your life. I‘m truly grateful, that I found your channel and I‘m always looking forward to your next video.
