Great videos! Just found your channel and had to subscribe. Wish these videos were around before I started my 97 WRX build as I've seen a few tips that would have helped for sure. Did my own cage and a 6 speed conversion and STD suspension that I got through you. Pretty happy with it and the suspension as I'm doing well in my first season of local Khanacross in SA. Even won last weekend! One question for you, I've heard that I should reinforce my rear subframe with a welded in brace between the mounting eyes for the rear arms, behind and under the diff. Have you heard of them cracking there?
Thanks for the great feedback and for subscribing! We've never seen a cracked rear cross member from fatigue. Both front and rear crossmembers do bend and twist sometimes if the suspension cops a good whack.
