Bit late but what do people think about this take?: being tactically rigid and "playing percentages" in terms of control tends to win you leagues overall but playing the same thing over and over makes your weaknesses clearer and means in the cups they can get exploited being tactically fluid and trying to press on opponent weaknesses tends to allow cups wins as you can squeeze weaknesses out of opponents though in the league, the day you are at 85% it can cost you when it's not automatic in certain phases of play Can explain pep's dominance in the league as well as conte's when he was good, and how Carlo Ancelotti and Zidane was good with being more tactically flexible, though I was too young to understand enough of Zidane's tactics
You have to understand that with the previous governments and the current state of Ukraine, the middle east, Korea and now Taiwan (the proper Chinese), European countries need to bolster their forces. The fact that the British armed forces is less than 100k strong these days, then boosting numbers is a must. Anyway, there is becoming a skill deficit in this country and something like national service could help!

Served 7 years in the royal engineers got made redundant by the tories but still can’t bring myself to forgive labour for Iraq. National Service could work. If you don’t go on to higher education or have a job why can’t we provide you with one would save money on social services and train people in certain fields where as nation weee short in like HGV drivers. As for the European Union I see it slowly crumbling. Lots of European nations are now voting for massively right wing leaders and party’s the euro still isn’t a great currency but that my opinion.
