You should ask for a share in the company like Huawei where employees own company shares. That's another reason why America ban Huawei fearing American employees demand the same opportunity.
Only an idiot would be pushing for a union at a place that already offers a good benefits package and decent starting pay. They move boxes around for Pete's sake it's not even skilled labor.. A union lol.. That's like having a dishwasher's union, it'll never happen.
@@LORDNAG1 They are coming, but they were coming anyway. Everything in capitalism is a cost-benefit analysis; higher wages will indeed make more pressure to "automate" (READ: fire humans), but Amazon just passes those costs along to us anyway by way of higher prices.
i think there is a right way to do things. it’s not difficult to structure a circumstance that benefits both sides. be humane, chose to be good people. it’s not about who’s richer. it’s about who is treating their people well, and are still profiting well. the same people you hire, are your customers. any union that chooses to do the right thing is a good thing, because most people in the world are evil and won’t chose to do the right thing, so you have to make them. another thing is instead demanding so much, pay the same, but create ways to make it easier for the workers. i believe in this. to me it’s not if it’s easy to do, it’s about paying fair for their time, know what they need to survive, be able to save, and enjoy life. start focusing on who is a better employer benefiting their employees, instead of who is making the most money. y’all making more than enough to live it up, so you can afford to pay well, and still benefit customers.

Nah. Seize the means. It IS about who’s richer, they only became rich by exploitation of workers.
Take care
Let's see how this accelerates completely automated warehouses.
If you have millions of people looking for jobs. I would think incentivize healthy working jobs like this.
Amazon can afford to shut this branch down to set an example for others
Just like Walmart does it.
@@jimmytimmy3680 I wasn’t aware. These labor strikes should have happened 20 years ago when we had jobs to fall back on.
@@maccon1 Indeed. But now is the time since there is a lot of leverage due to the pandemic.
Starbucks' employees are unionizing in sevetal states. Got to keep the momentum going.
And we can stop funding their warehouses with out tax dollars to set an example to Amazon
