    Thank goodness for Kim's design prowess combined with your ingenuity, because if the drawers were different heights you would regret it and you would hate reading all of the comments saying "I told you so!"

    You asked what should go at the forward end of the utility room. My suggestion is a dedicated charging station for all your rechargeable batteries and equip. Shallow fiddled shelves with specific charging plugs/adaptors installed in the shelves, could put on a dedicated circuit for control/safety/ monitoring. Gets all the cables etc out of the other boat spaces and you would know where everything is. Marries up to the draws if you dedicate a draw for drones, power tool skins, cameras, mikes etc. Anyway, just a thought. Cheers Tony

    Love your DIY content. You are a dynamic duo with Ty being an expert craftsman while Kim is being an even better Supervisor! Many years ago when i worked on offshore windfarms as a captain, all i knew was Sikaflex and Tec7 as marine silicone adhesive. We were at a yardvisit and doing a bumperfenderrepair on our boat. The only thing that kept the fender to stick on the boat was bostik industrial marine adhesive. Whats your experience with it so far?

    • @SailingDauntless
      @SailingDauntless  Год назад +1

      👍😊. I really like the Bostik, very tenacious but does skin a little quick.

    you could always have a deep draw by splitting the fronts and making it look like 2

    Five drawers per stack is going to be perfect. It's amazing how many tools and accessories will fit in a three inch deep drawer.

      You can always make 2 3inch draws into a single draw later.

    Ty, You put my College Professors to shame. I received my Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Technology Degree (MARR) and ended up working for the DOD. Unfortunately, the term close enough for government work applies in so many fields, as most people don’t take pride in their work like you do anymore. Keep up the great work and the great videos!!!
