Just tried the Carnival sauce for the first time, all I have to say is WOW. So much flavor and the perfect amount of burn. Trying the Cremini one next, sounds amazing. Thanks for the tip!!!!!!!!

Marie Sharp's Fiery Hot sauce is my go to sauce for everything. It's around a 4 on heat but I like the taste. I'll have to try some of the ones you picked!

Great review!! Have you tried the brand Rising Hy? They don’t use any vinegar.🤔

    • @PepperGeek

Interesting, we've tried some sauces that use lemon juice instead of vinegar, or just fermented pepper mash for safe acidity. Looks like they use citric acid to keep pH down. Thanks for the recommendation!

You can get it online here: dragonsbloodelixir.com/products/garlic-paprikash - Or, you can try to catch him at the many CT based farmer's markets in the summer - we've seen him at Coventry

Watched this video a week ago and since I am also from CT I ordered 5 bottles from dragons blood elixir. It's GREAT stuff, but I went through all 5 bottles in about a week. I just moved into a new house and would love some help getting a small pepper garden set up!

One of the finest hot sauces ive had is salsa Huichol. I dont find Huichol hot but its pepper taste is great ! It doesn't have to burn your mouth off to have a great taste however I kinda like mega heat. Yellow bird is in fact pretty good. I like their Ghost pepper sauce.

First, can't say how envious I am that you have a spouse that enjoys heat. My bride is - even after 23 years of marriage and me trying to improve her tolerance for, and enjoyment of hot & spicy - still a wuss. And she'll admit it. You, as they say in the south, are blessed. Secondly, as a number of those who have undoubtedly offered their opinions, objections, etc, I, too will make a recommendation. Check out two purveyors: Savory Spice and Saborac. Savory has some real winners. Unsure if they just add their label or what, but everything I've tried from them is unique and delicious. They don't go for heat just for the sake of heat. Spevifically, their Umami Reserve is freaking killer. Saborac is out of Australia and makes small batch fermented sauces which tend towards mid-to-high heat. Very interesting combinations of fruits, peppers, and spices. Keep up the great content!

Haha, it is one of the commonalities that brought us together for sure. Thanks for the recommendations, once we start making a dent in our huge reserves of hot sauces, we'll venture to try some new ones. Cheers
