Yes it hits hard- the post Woodstock generation finds its feet, mostly in platforms with dangerously wide flares and Baggies inches above and there was still some innocence pre Watergate, refreshed political cynicism, the Three Day Week in the U.k. with free contraception and no AIDS. Oh God, I’m sounding nostalgic, better stop. Take care, Stu X

The amazing thing about David Jones is just how long it took him to realise that he was a musical genius. A brilliant actor too.

David Bowie's last public appearance in the UK. I had the privilege of seeing him twice live. First time in the 80s in Manchester on the Glass Spider tour then on my birthday 1990 at the National Bowl Milton Keynes on the Sound + Vision tour. Moral of the story is see artists when you can as they aren't going to be around forever. Much as we like to think they will be

Bowie was awesome - glad to have been there when the 70's was unfolding and the music was unpolluted by the record companies. Seeing Bowie and so many others in the 70's was an unbelievable experience!!!
