Is Paccar no longer offering the key fob with the light check button for your pre-trip? Or is that not a popular option? Seems like the way to go to me.
I might do a couple but honestly not a fan of that package. It is a very expensive upgrade that I don't see a ton of value in but I am sure I will order a few. You know I will do a video as soon as they show up.
Amazing Colour, My pickup is blue streak pearl. I dont know what this is as "Papper Terms". My aunt had a KW W900l in 97 that was a blue streak pearl, Now that was a nice truck. Sadly the interiors are so basic now days compared to the ol school days and you know what I mean.
Beautiful job Steve. As close to perfect as it gets. Everything about it speaks attention to detail. Well done man. Question... Can you still get a burgundy color interior? Regards, Paramus Steve
Steve, Did I hear you correctly. 72in but hut. keep these videos coming. and I will have to get a linen service. to keep my beach towels clean. dang it .ROLMAO
Hey Pete Steve, you have some very beautiful Petes as I'm sure you are well aware. I've noticed that many of them don't have roof mounted air horns. which I still greatly value. How often do you all do the Petes with traditional roof mounted air horns?
I realize this is a flat top but wonder, what is the biggest sleeper available on the 389? If this 72 is really 63" is there any bigger? In the standup?
I see most of the trucks have 72 inch sleepers ...do you have any with 86 inch or bigger and with the same setup as the 565hp but with an automatic trans.
I noticed the rims are made in Mexico, It is just stupid to buy truck with parts made from another country. I would be absolutely nuts to buy this foreign made truck from you Steve. Bring back "Made in American TRUCK!
Suck it up buttercup, this is the most American made class 8 truck on the road today. Nothing on the road today is pure American made. I drive a Toyota Tundra because it has the most components made in the USA of any 1/2 ton on the market. I proudly fly Old Glory in front of my home and my workplace so I appreciate your passion. I am curious what your alternative choice is to a Peterbilt is though. Thank you for watching, I really do appreciate it.
I know nothing about trucks but there is something about the looks of a Peterbilt that I cannot resist. My retirement plan is to live in a 5th wheeler ruclips.net/video/0t1xSHwuLyE/видео.html and haul it around with a PeterBilt everything depends on my 401K.
Great video. So much detail about the trucks. Best Peterbilt channel on youtube
That's it! THAT'S my FAVORITE color!!!
I knew you would dig it Sam O!
Is Paccar no longer offering the key fob with the light check button for your pre-trip? Or is that not a popular option? Seems like the way to go to me.
That option is only on the 567 579 models

Thanks John

Can't wait to see you do some new pride and class models.
I might do a couple but honestly not a fan of that package. It is a very expensive upgrade that I don't see a ton of value in but I am sure I will order a few. You know I will do a video as soon as they show up.
Yea I can definitely see that. you're paying for a name and the right to say you got it

Tornado capital of the world I believe. No sir, no trucks hit by tornadoes here...
But you are in a state with a bad tornado rating Steve
I know that buddy, its not as bad as people think but it is a very serious situation when they happen.
When do tornadoes happen ever hour or so Steve?
Only a few times a year
What kind of transmission can these be spec'd with?.
All of them, manuals or automatics.
Awesome. I'm looking at starting my own buisness and your going to be the guy I turn to when it comes time for the truck.

Almost identical, not enough difference to talk about

I realize this is a flat top but wonder, what is the biggest sleeper available on the 389? If this 72 is really 63" is there any bigger? In the standup?
The 78/70 is the biggest stand up. Same one for the past many years
I see most of the trucks have 72 inch sleepers ...do you have any with 86 inch or bigger and with the same setup as the 565hp but with an automatic trans.
I have 86's but no automatics

MX 13 or the X 15 Cummins?
Both great engines
Whats the extra cost to go from drums to disc out the door?
About $2k

A truck like this usually sells around $160
